However, for every answered prayer we share, we know there are at least as many unanswered prayers — if not more; and we know that unanswered prayers can be discouraging.
But we don’t want you to lose hope, or to stop praying.
In fact, many of the Saints that we ask for intercession are great examples that we should persist in our prayers, and keep our faith strong. St. Monica, for example, prayed for nearly two decades before her prayers were completely answered.

I prayed to God to help me in sorting out my daughter’s hospital bill. And miraculously the hospital gave me 100% discount. I give Him all the glory.
During this Novena I prayed that the door must open for my 2 daughters to get jobs, they were not working for more than 3 years. God is good all the time because job opportunies are opening up for them. They in private practice and there is a contract that must be concluded soon. please prey for me that it is successful, I have a deep faith that God has answered our prayers and as a family wi lift His name high.
This may not be on par with “miraculous” events but after stressing about our finances after I retired, our daughter was married, loss of significant additional income for some months, and our son graduating high school and preparing for college, the Lord helped me realize that all these stressors are also incredible blessings. We are truly blessed with so many great things in our life! Thanks be to God!
Starting from January 2014 to June 2014, i was jobless but after one novena in that same June i got a job that lasted for three month, i was fired. then after another novena in September same last year i got another job to the glory of God. And again before the novena of sacred heart started, my job was shaky but by the time the novena was coming to an end everything stabilized and i was giving more days to work. Thanks to mother Mary and the son Jesus Christ for being there for us.And thanks again to the novena community for joining me in the prayer.
My daughter applied for a scholarship in Japan. I prayed the Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus for 9 days through this website. Today, five days after the novena, we received word that she was granted the scholarship. We are truly grateful to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
I am so thankful. My prayers have not been completely answered but I can feel the help. I suddenly have an interview next week in a Catholic school near where my daughter lives. I received help for my son with a mental affliction. I can see new doors opening. I am so grateful for all the prayers and support from this prayer group. I have been praying the novena’s for over a year for my son to return to the faith. While I was praying the Sacred Heart Novena I felt a calming peace in my soul and I took it as a sign that Jesus had heard me. I don’t know when my son will return but I do know Jesus Christ is with him! Thank you Lord for Your Great Love and Mercy!! Amen
I have not seen visible answers to some of my prayers, but I do feel more peace about some of the situations I am praying about. I know that God in is control and that he answers our prayers even though it sometimes doesn’t seem like it. I am sure many people feel this way. So, don’t give up. I haven’t!
I prayed the novena that we successfully close on our townhouse. We closed on June 9. Praise God!

At the begining of the Novena, I told Sacred Heart to change my circumstances before the end of the 9 days. I remember saying it was an agreement between us. By the 8th day, a few things had changed and I believe the rest will soon change too. As a result of this, I have resolved to join the Association of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, for more devotion to the Sacred Heart.
My son was scheduled for surgery at the beginning of the Novena. I was concerned that he could have complications so I prayed The Sacred Heart Novena for an uncomplicated surgery and a quick recovery, his surgery was performed on day 9 of the novena. His surgery was successfull and his re cooperation is going well.

I prayed to the Sacred Heart novena to find good friends a better job and a suitable companionfor my daughter she has found a new friend..a friend has offered to help her find more suitable employment and I know that the companion will soon present himself…on the feast day I was invited to attend a memorial mass at The Sacred Heart church.. I have not been to that church in years…I feel God is already blessing me..thank you Sacred Heart, Mary and Joseph for favors granted.

I prayed for guidance and doors opening for my career. 2 years ago I had planned to begin a Ph.D. program but needed to step out due to finances. At the end of this Novena, I was in a hair salon and randomly met an instructor in that Ph.D. program. Due to a student dropping out, I was able to be re-admited that day. Although I refer to the meeting as “random” I know it was God’s plan.
I prayed and asked that we not have rain during our fun fest this past weekend and my prayers were answered it didn’t rain during the time we were open.
The evening of the 9th day of the Novena I received a call that an apartment was available where I had been looking, and the ironic part was it was across the way from the girl who called me about it. I’d been told that one doesn’t become available very often… Yes prayers are answered…
I I’ve been praying for many things one of which was a full time job. I have been working 2 part time jobs since 2011. June 15, I began a new full time position. Thanks be to God.

I feared my son would not be able to produce a child as he was sickly as a child and suffered urology problems. He is very bright but always struggled finding himself.
He attempted many careers but without completion. He now is married to a lovely woman who supports him 100%. They have a 3 month old daughter and he will be a registered nurse in Dec.
God, as always, did not let us down.

I have been on this prayer novena for more than a year. I have repeatedly sent in prayer requests for a job. I have been looking for a job for about 2 years. In the middle of this Novena, I was called up for a job offer. The hiring process is not yet complete, but I feel good and I believe it would end well in Jesus Mighty Name. My immigration process will also change by the end of this week. Thanks to everyone as we continue praying and believing God. Amen Amen.
My wife was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast cancer right before the start of the Sacred Heart Novena! We received the best possible news after the biopsies in that she will be able to receive hormone therapy to shrink her tumors that have metastis to several of her bones! She has started therapy and is doing much better!
We will continue to pray for my wife’s recovery and for everyone’s intentions with the upcoming Novena’s!
I prayed for my grandson to decide where he wanted to live, with me :), and I prayed that his mother got herself together dispite her pain both physical and emotional with the pending divorce. I prayed that she finds a place to live. And slowly things are happening as a neighbor is helping her pack, storing some stuff and we hope, offer her a room for awhile.
My grandson is happy to be staying with me for however long or short it is……he’s in college and works several days a week in the summer, so he won’t be around much. I luckily have a spare room so he can move right in. I think he’s happy with his decision. I hope and pray that we all, his sister too , continue to support him and his mom.

Before we started the novena, the doctor told my sister it was highly likely she had several types of cancer. After the novena started, we received news that she has no cancer. Thanks be to God!
I prayed for my son to pass an exam for his job. He had to score 100%. He passed it today, scoring 100%.

I am grateful that I can do exercise that is essential for my
spine and heart. I have been reluctant because of complications
with my eyes but feel that it is right for me now. I started today
and I am happy to be able. Praise God!
My 86 y/o mother had been put in hospice care and was suffering. I felt that the first day this novena began, that it was closely connected to her suffering. I prayed that she did not last til the 9th day of the novena. It was so hard for her. She died on the 7th day. But her spirit was commended to the Lord on the final day. God is so good. He never forgets us.
God is super good! My son passed and was accepted the most difficult entrance exam for law school. Thank you Lord.
Throughout this novena I have been praying for my sons, who both are unemployed and have been for some time, would be hired for the different jobs they have applied for. My one son on Friday was hired for a job. My other son received a call from a recruiter about an upcoming position. I’m continuing to pray this novena to thank our Father, Son and Holy Spirit for letting my one son receive employment and hopeful that my other son will get hired very soon. Prayer is a powerful tool and regardless of what happens, God is always in control of what happens in our lives.

I prayed for better paying job. On the first day of the novena, i got two phone calls for a job interview and i got both jobs and they pay more than my current job. Thank you Lord
My boss is such a verbal abuser, but I prayed the sacred heart novena to change the way she deals with her employees. She has calmed down a whole lot. I am continuing to pray that she continues to be kind. My ex husband had a stroke last week and I prayed for him to be better, he’s out of the hospital and in a nursing home to get his strength back.
I prayed the Novena in hopes that my test results would be okay. I had a high white blood count and went for further testing and a ultrasound of my liver. Test results came back basically fine with a fatty liver that can be controlled by diet. Thank God for my blessing. God is good!
I said this novena prayer asking God for safe delivery of my baby and that the baby should come exactly on the due date. God answered my prayer and it all happened. I bless the name of the Lord and say thanks to my redeemer for the wonderful gift to my family.
I recently had an accident at work and hurt my back. I have been worried about my health and finances, not knowing how I will pay my bills, rent and my Daughter’s care. While praying the Novena, it has helped me stay in Faith and not to worry, fortunaelty I have a good Doctor and Therapist’s helping me recover. I still have not received a workers compensation check, but my FAITH in GOD, and watching how he is helping me, has helped ease my burden and anxiety.

I am actually responding to request prayers.
I just found out yesterday that my 20 year old, unmarried daughter is pregnant. She has only completed her general courses in college, and the father of her baby is of limited means. My husband and I have five other children, and our ability to provide materially is also limited.
My husband and I think the best thing for her to do for the well-being of this baby is to offer him/her up for adoption. Right now, she says she wants to keep the baby. This is so heartbreaking! Either way, it will be very painful. Please pray for my family! We still have to tell her siblings, and I’m trying to find the right words to share this news with our 10 and 7 year old son and daughter, without robbing them of their innocence. She is only 7 weeks along, but who knows when she will start to show. Also, we have to have some serious conversations with her and her boyfriend, and the younger siblings will figure it out soon anyway.
We assured our 20 year old of our love for her and our grandchild. Any prayers would be greatly appreciated!

Through this novena, Jesus has strengthened one of my son’s faith and cured another son’s allergic problem.
I prayed this 9 day novena for my husband’s health and he had endoscopy done last Thursday results were a nervous stomach. Thank you God it wasn’t anything serious. God is the ULTIMATE healer!!!!
On the feast day, I was walking on the beach, I’ve been experiencing a difficult time in my marriage for some time. As it was a cloudy day, it started to rain and then I looked out to the surf and saw a rainbow from the sea reaching out to the sky. This represented God’s love and hope that He is standing with us during this storm in our marriage and offering us His healing love in the beautiful sacred heart of His son.

God Bless this website, I will be eternally thankful as prayers over financial issues were answered, after a long hard struggle and a rough year, my family was blessed with assistance to help us catch up and move positively ahead. While we didn’t win the lottery, and I hated asking for financial help, we were blessed with a loan approval that will help us to meet our obligations and I also gained employment close to home after many months of searching for work. I am so thankful that the burden was lessened and I intend to fulfill promises to our Lord and will continue to pray to grow closer to Our Lord each day. I prayed for a new path to follow and it is open before us. I am so thankful for my daily emails and to be part of such a wonderful group praying fervently to Our Lord. During this novena, which I prayed to believe completely in God’s providence, the Lord inspired me to donate my car to a girl who was in greater need of it than I was. It ended up being the last piece of a huge miracle she had been praying for after a year of extreme trial and sorrow. I was overjoyed that He had shown His providence to me by making me an instrument of it. This happened halfway through the novena.
The day after the novena ended, a friend of mine called me and said that he was buying a new car, and asked if he could donate his old car (which is much nicer than my old car) to me! I thought my prayer was already answered by increasing my faith, but He went above and beyond and provided materially for me too! The Lord asked me to give a little, and gave me so much more in return!
Thank you Lord for granting my wishes. My daughter who announced she is pregnant on the feast of Divine Mercy. She had an scan last week – both mother and baby are well. Her health is better too. Also thanks for the well being of my sister and her husband who have been unwell for a while. All tests have been cleared. Praise God.
God has heard me and kept my baby in the womb healthy and alive, growing everyday and making me sicker but YES I’m grateful oh Lord.

I played to god that the manager who did my disciplinary not to refer me to our nursing body so that I could lost my pin today I got letter explaining that he is doing some more investigations with the other nurse whom the manager did not suspend and it will take long time but please pray so that they pay my salary of last year August 33.75 hour and they have not paid the month March April may and this month June

I have been praying for a better job through this Novena. A few days after the novena I was called for an interview. I have faith this is the job .
My daughter who is 16months old never crawled and was not walking either. Half way through the novena she started crawling military style and taking up to six steps at a time. She is not moving around a lot yet but I know she will get there soon by God’s grace.
Jesus granted my wish on having our property sold so we can have enough to go on and share with our children. It was the Feast of the Sacred Heart that this happened while praying this novena. to God be the Glory!

I prayed the novena and went to the Sacred Heart feast mass. He said absolutely not going on Sunday. I cried out to God please help me be a good steward of my son, I just want him to have a good formation in you Lord, but I can’t force him, I need your help.
Miraculously that afternoon he agreed willingly that it was the right thing.

I am thanking The Sacred Heart of Jesus for answered prayers in restoring my marriage. Even though not completely there yet which I know will be just a matter of time, I can see the change in my husband as he no longer has a hardened heart towards me and is now showing me love which he didn’t do before. I have received some miracles like him coming to pick me up from the station on his own accord and him no longer staying out late to a total stranger praying for me on my way back from work (all she heard was me praying aloud while walking home – the most precious Blood of Jesus Christ), I then told her that I was praying for marriage restoration as my husband was having an affair.
I know very soon, the affair he is having will be completely destroyed and our love will be rekindled as I am confident the Sacred of Jesus will breathe life back into our marriage. Amen!!!! Hallelujah!!!

Have been praying no era prayer for my family and seen God blessing by preventing what could have taken my daughter to person ,as she travelled,with her boyfriend who was using drugs and she didn’t know ,apparently she woke up at night for a cup of water and found the boy rolling ,when he ask ,her phone was smash left with no phone,then she cheated her boyfriend that I had informed the police and already cut her ticket back ,that is when the boy made her use his phone but could have given her the rolls to carry without her knowing to England but God prevented that ,
Specific intentions not specifically answered but I thank the Lord after 6 dry months I went to confession on the Feast day. A project I was working on went very well beyond expectation and my spouse came with me to Sunday Mass after a long time. Will keep praying.
I want to thank God for his mercy and generosityas I prayed for healing for my mother in law who has been sick over months now. There was appreciable improvement from her last doctors appointment. May the name of the Lord be praised now and forever
I prayed this novena, though not thoroughly, asking that my application to be recruited and trained as a medical physicist may be successful. Over the weekend I was called upon to fill a scholarship form and submit my academic documents. I see this as a step towards my prayer being answered. MY HUSBAND RECENTLY WENT THROUGH MAJOR SURGERY (HIS 4TH SPINAL FUSION SURGERY). SOMETHING WENT WRONG AND HE WAS IN A COMA IN ICU FOR 9 DAYS. HIS BLOOD PRESSURE WAS 60/20. THEY SAID HE WAS NOT GOING TO DIE BUT THAT HE WAS VERY SICK. HE STAYED IN THE HOSPITAL FOR 13 DAYS.
I AM HAPPY TO REPORT THROUGH THE MERCY OF THE LORD, HE MADE IT! WE HAD A LOT OF PEOPLE PRAYING. HE IS AT HOME NOW AND HE IS DOING WELL! WE HAVE BEEN TOGETHER FOR 36 YEARS AND I DON’T KNOW WHAT I WOULD HAVE DONE…….

I have been praying for my daughter K who have been seeing a gentleman. Although I have never met the individual just in speaking to her I felt that he was not the right person for her. I asked mother Mary that if he was not the right one for her to please give her the faith and strength to walk away.
