We wanted to let you know about the next novena — it’s one of our favorites (you can scroll down to read why), and we’ll start praying it just a few days after we finish the current Novena to St. Monica.
The next novena is The Novena for Marriage and Family!
St. John Paul II said, “As the family goes, so goes the nation and so goes the whole world in which we live,” so it’s really important that we pray for marriages and families to be strengthened and sanctified.
We will pray for those who are already married, for those who want to be married, for families going through difficult times, and for those in financial distress.
There’s something extra special about this novena… It leads up to the Feast of Mary’s Birthday (the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary)!
The first time we prayed this novena together as a community was nine years ago, leading up to our wedding day! It has been such a gift to pray with you :)
And it is so important that we have strong marriages and strong families. So, we are really looking forward to praying this novena once again, for all Marriages and for Families!

Please pray that we find work. We relocated to Florida after husband secured a good job in place, sold our home in NJ, purchased new one here, quit our jobs. Once we completed the relocation process 3 months later, his employer let him go. Finding a job here has been very difficult as we are in our 50’s and very new to the area. Health insurance is a big deal, we both battled cancer within last few years, myself not even a year done with chemo. I become plagued with debilitating panic…I’m praying for among many things, peace in our lives.

We have a daughter who since 1992 has found ways to accuse us of so many things which ended up in difficult one-sided separations is more painful now than ever. She does seek consuling, we are told, but they sound kind of quackish. We are so sad and tired of the accusations and the polarization of her family towards us. I desperately want her back, but my almost-bedridden husband does not. We are really treated in a horrible manner, but I will not return it. I am exhausted with longing and sadness.

Please help me pray for healing, Deliverance and my marriage restoration.
Please Lord help my son with his emotional issues and have him reconnect with his family. I am also concerned the effect this is having on his relationship with his wife.
