We wanted to let you know about the next novena — it’s one of our favorites (you can scroll down to read why), and we’ll start praying it just a few days after we finish the current Novena to St. Monica.
The next novena is The Novena for Marriage and Family!
St. John Paul II said, “As the family goes, so goes the nation and so goes the whole world in which we live,” so it’s really important that we pray for marriages and families to be strengthened and sanctified.
We will pray for those who are already married, for those who want to be married, for families going through difficult times, and for those in financial distress.
There’s something extra special about this novena… It leads up to the Feast of Mary’s Birthday (the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary)!
The first time we prayed this novena together as a community was nine years ago, leading up to our wedding day! It has been such a gift to pray with you :)
And it is so important that we have strong marriages and strong families. So, we are really looking forward to praying this novena once again, for all Marriages and for Families!

Please for my parents they seem to hate each other after more than 30 years of being married.
His name in Antonio and she’s Simona, unfortunately my brother has been telling my mother that she should fail for divorce and forget all the issues and troubles she has because of my father. Honestly I think he blames my father of all the things that seem to be bad at home.
My father barely talks with us, he feels so guilty and sad. Most of the times he’s sleeping in the sofa o simply with his eyes closed.
I have been praying so much, nevertheless I have had no answer yet. I hope our God will help my family soon, otherwise they will fail for divorce, and obviously that is not the solution. : (

My dearest Blessed Mother Mary–on Day 1 of this novena I had asked if you could help my son get a science job and on the second day of this novena he got his first science job offer!!! He decided to take it because it would give him great experience. The commute is long and the pay could be better, but it’s the field that he wanted. Thank you sooooo much because I know deep in my heart that you helped him get it. I am eternally grateful my sweet Mother Mary. Now, I pray that he does well so that he builds up his confidence and keep him emotionally and academically stable. I love you Jesus, I praise you Jesus and I thank you Jesus! Please also help my older son and his fiance purchase an affordable home in the neighborhood that he would like, but most of all please help my brother through his cancer journey and may God take him soon if it’s in His will. My husband and I lost our first child/ children: twin daughters on 8/21/21 due to preterm labor. Our hearts and souls are in so much despair and agony that we started with 0 children to a miracle of two children now to zero. This loss has brought a closer sensitive side to our relationship to bring my husband and I closer as we mourn, he has been the rock God intended him to be as a husband.
We want to try again and have more children and that is where all prayers and support are needed. Please pray that we can get pregnant again soon and have another child and may they live to live a life blessed by God and a long life and may we have other successful births and more children

My oldest sons wife left him, she is attracted to woman. This is both of their second marriage, his first wife lied about being pregnant and had a whole list of lies & baggage she brought into the marriage. So this is a horrible double hit. My other 3 children have left the faith, two of my sons practice nothing. My daughter cannot get pregnant, married 8 hrs and currently her husband is in a treatment facility for porn addiction.
Please pray for R., a National Grid employee who went to Louisiana to help with the aftermath of Hurricane Ida, who has gone missing. Please pray that he be found safe and sound and that, in the meantime, he and his family and friends trust in Jesus and be comforted by the Holy Spirit to the glory of God the Father.
