St. Monica prayed for her son’s conversion for more than 15 years. She wept and prayed constantly with faith and hope in God.
What was the result of all those years of prayer?
One of the great saints in the history of the Church: her son, St. Augustine!
That’s why Saint Monica is known for her intercession for those who have fallen away from the faith — for their conversions and reversions back to the Church!
We will start praying on Sunday, August 18th!

My daughter married someone on the other side of the country. We helped her raise our grandson and he is now gone. We missed him terribly and our daughter doesn’t seem to be doing well. Our son-in-law doesn’t want us to be able to have our grandson even for a little over the summer. When we go to visit he won’t let us keep him out of school at all. It will be grade 1 this year. We can only afford to go there 1 or 2 times a year and want to have as much time with him as possible. It doesn’t seem like a lot to ask. I’m praying for a change of heart for him and perhaps we need one too. Our hearts are broken missing him so much! He misses us so much too. They also stopped going to church very much. We really love to share the faith with our grandson and now we can’t.

My son has made some mistakes against his subordinates, and now he is facing a court martial, incarceration, loss of family, loss of job. I draw strength from the saints for their persistence in prayer. I need guidance in fasting and prayer for this matter. I pray for the intercession of the saints to request that Jesus can provide the miracle of compassion and mercy in the heart of the Judge, the prosecutors, and his accusers.

I pray for my husband’s conversion, and for the conversion of our adult children and their families. (The children are atheist)
I pray for my own marriage, which has suffered due to my health problems and physical (intimate) changes that have come with it and menopause.
I pray for my new church, that it/she may prosper and grow. (I live in an area that has few Catholics)

I’d like to pray that all students going back to school may have a safe and successful school year. I’d also like to pray for all those who are suffering from loneliness and loss of a friend or family member, that they may be comforted in their time of need and that new doors may opened for them. Also for all young people discerning marriage and those who are already married, that they may be given guidance and grace for strong, nurturing relationships.
Dear St. Monica, thank you for rapidly answering my prayer yesterday….it came thru in several ways unexpectedly regarding my cabin. I thank you and pray that these sites will boost the visibility and bookings of it.
I’m hurt right now and trying not to be too sensitive about my Chair and his intentional ways of making me feel very less than and not an important role in this department, yet I was to be the office manager when hired. I’m more of a custodian and it does not feel good. He leaves me off emails that entirely should be connected to me, then he adds me. It’s very confusing. I pray for this situation. I pray for my friend, Cynthia and her new home.
I pray for a salary increase and great review here. I pray for love and a husband. I pray that my date with Mike will be fun on Saturday. I pray for reconciliation with many friends. I pray to be lifted up at this moment and strengthened. Hold me up, give me great hope and joy.
Please pray for Our Country, Our President & please help non-believers in Trump, our President–he wants what is Best for All Americans & for our country to again be the land our Forefathers worked so hard for

Please pray for my 88.5 yr. old Father-in-law’s health. He is fighting cancer for the 3rd time- this time lung cancer. He was hospitalized last night for a possible stroke. His goal is to live to at least age 90- and attend the weddings of 2 of his granddaughters next Fall!
Please also pray for me. I need to listen well for the Lord’s guidance in raising our youngest daughter.
