St. Monica prayed for her son’s conversion for more than 15 years. She wept and prayed constantly with faith and hope in God.
What was the result of all those years of prayer?
One of the great saints in the history of the Church: her son, St. Augustine!
That’s why Saint Monica is known for her intercession for those who have fallen away from the faith — for their conversions and reversions back to the Church!
We will start praying on Sunday, August 18th!

I pray that my son B was able to get to his college orientation this morning. His addiction to marijuana and his mental illness make it difficult for him to get to important things. Thank God he always makes it to work and is a good worker. I am thankful also to his employer.

I pray for restoration in my marriage to Steven. Please help save our marriage. Restore it and bring it back to its glory and purpose of love. Help us to reunite as a marriage couple and love, care and respect one another. I love my husband but I just don’t feel that strong love and the arguments and fighting don’t help. Outside influencers are causing issues for us or are always the source of our arguments as is lack or little money. Please pray for our financial situation to improve drastically so we can be less stressed and have additional space for our family. I hold everything in and it’s causing me to be angry and resentful and I don’t want this. I want a loving and caring relationship and one that is full of trust. We lost this somehow and I want it back.
