St. Monica‘s prayers weren’t completely answered for nearly 20 years — so if there’s anything to take away from this novena at all, it is that we must persevere in prayer and continue to grow stronger in our faith and hope in Jesus.

I have been part of these Novenas for quite sometime and prayed for myself to be strengthened in faith and for my children to grow up in faith and the fear of the Lord. Since the beginning of 2015, most of the things I have prayed for through the Novenas have come to pass. I cannot mention one by one because I am spoilt for choice!!! I now talk to whoever cares to listen about this website and encourage them to join us in prayer. God is good!!!
I have been praying for a professional job for my husband after several years of unemployment and now a year in an overnight supermarket job that is money for sure, but an emotional and physical strain. He has gone through 3 interviews over several months for a great opportunity. He made the top 2 during the St. Monica novena. His interview was supposed to be next week but was changed…to the final day of the new St. Therese novena. I hope that’s a good sign!
The novena prayers have drawn me closer to God. I prayed Santa Monica novena and asked her to intervene for my children who are very quiet in school. I asked her to give them good friends and social life. My son is in his first year secondary school and has settled well and is making friends and my daughter is doing so well and having more supportive friends. Praise to Trinity One God and thanks to Santa Monica for praying for us. Thank you John Paul and Anne for this prayer group. God bless you

For the last 2 novenas, I have been praying for peace, love and friendship to returning in my married. I and my husband were quarreling constantly and our marriage is just a year and few months old. I thank God that those qualities are gradually coming back between us. He is now more interested in issues affecting us, unlike before. Thank you all for praying with and for us.

Am so grateful for the novena monica as well as novena for the family as the first one i prayed for my kid to go back to school and as we talk now she is going to school and am sure God will help me so that i can complete her fees as i paid half way. Good morning family. i have been following prayers here for a month now and praying faithfully for my fiance health, altitude and job. I asked St. Monica to pray for my father who seems to have lost his way since he lost his job 15 years ago. And now my father is doing so much better and is actively looking work.

It started with the Novena for St. Ann. I have been praying for my friend who has been married for 33yrs but never formalized her marriage in church. After the St. Ann Novena she called and said her husband was willing to have a church wedding but had not fixed a date. We started the St. Monica Novena and on the 2nd day of the novena, her husband fixed a date of 27th August(unknown to him that it is the Feast of St. Monica). I was in tears and come 27th they did a church wedding! Thank you God for answering our prayers. St. Monica and St. Ann thank you for your intervention.
I had an interview scheduled during this Novena and I prayed that I would get the job and i did. Thank you Paul and Anne you are a blessing and God bless you abundantly for bringing together people to pray together. OH! and that was my first novena
St Monica prayed for her son who was lost to sin . I prayed for my husband who walked out of our marriage 4 years ago. Since praying the novena for his conversion and return things are a bit better. I will continue to pray the novena until there is a greater change and he returns to God and if it’s God’s will also to our marriage. Thank you Pray More Novena family.
Dear brothers and sisters,
I have been praying novenas shared here so that I should find relief from my financial burden caused by bad debt. I had a debt that was accumulating interest at an alarming rate. After praying one of the novenas last week, the person whom I owed money texted me to inform me he had decided to review my debt. When he explained the new calculations, I realised I would have to pay him just about 50% of what I owed him. It was, and still is, a miracle for me. I still have more to ask from God in relation to my financial life. And I know God is working behind the scenes. Soon I will regain my full financial freedom. Praise God for His wonders!
I prayed the past two novenas for financial stability as I am on maternity leave and my husband did not work for 9 months and we built a new house. Every month for the past 4 months I would stress about how to pay the mortgage. The economy is bad in Alberta. We put our condo on the market the first person who saw it bought it and my husband got a call to go work in the oil industry. Thank you God and the holy family.
Among the prayer intentions I had to St. Monica was “Better job”. The Novena ended when there seemed nothing forthcoming but a week later I was called for an interview which was extremely tough, including by correspondence (Skype). It also seemed very competitive interview but I only believed that one day God will answer my day. But during the Novena to St. Anne for families, I received a phone call that I was successful in the interview! I was excited! The salary offered doubles my current salary! I will take up my new job on 28th/Sept/2015. Thank you God, thank you Jesus and thank you Holy Spirit for answering my prayer through St. Monica. Amen
I prayed we could find another ophthalmologist. Take my son as a new patient, and also give a second opinion regarding the Adeno Virus that affected both of his eyes. For over 2 months he wore sunglasses day and night, a baseball cap sat below his eyebrows, his nose ran constantly, he developed a cough. He couldn’t drive, couldn’t go to the gym, working as a cook was a challenge. He had a virus for over 2 months. Then St Monica answered my prayer. We found an excellent specialist. (Who happens to be a devout catholic himself) He can see, no permenent damage, he even started driving again. Thank you St Monica.
Thank God for His divine favour on my family. My family ve been having financial problem and I’m also due to deliver. Money to pay for delivery is one of the issue. I prayed for finanicial favour and my company openned a HMO for all outsourced staff free of charge.

My husband and I have five adopted children, who are now adults. All were special needs children when we got them. As adults they have gone their own way, making morally bad decisions. One daughter has lived with her boyfriend for numerous years. One of our other daughters got married, had a child then left her husband to go into a live-in homosexual relationship. My husband and I prayed thenovena for marriage and family. I still can’t believe it, but last Friday, both daughters individually contacted us , to say that their relationship ended. We are sure it is the hand of God. They both have a long way to go and we pray that their hearts are moved to God. But we thank Him for his work in their lives.

I prayed the last two novenas so that my niece would get pregnant and carry the baby to full term. I found out last week that she is 3 months pregnant. Now I continue to pray

My son has been consistent focused and I’m very proud of him. I’m greatful for prayers answered for discernment as well. I ask for continued prayer. Thank you Lord.
Praise and glory for the miracles that my son has received. My son’s rental house burned due to faulty wiring that was done while he was at work. No injury to him nor his family. Miracle #1. He had lived in that house for a month and hadn’t transferred his renters insurance. The contractor paid for a month’s lodging. Miracle #2. He found another house and the landlord lowered his rent out of compassion. Miracle #3. His co-workers raised $800 for him. Miracle#4. I give thanksgiving for the intercession of St Monica, our Blessed Mother and our Lord Jesus.
My nephew Justin is in jail please pray for his family and also for God mercy to shine light on his darkness.
I have 2 prayer requests and both were answered through these novenas. My friend Bleth who had been separated from her husband for 13 years and had lived with another woman and bore a child while out of the country had called her and asked for a forgiveness and reconciliation. He is coming come for good. Gorie, also a friend, who was left by her husband for 24 years have finally forgave each other and are on speaking terms. Possibilities of a reconciliation is on-going. Alleluia! God answers prayers. thank you to our mighty intercessors.
Thank you very much for praying with me and for my intentions. From my depression on my job, I regain strong faith and even strengthen me more. Though I am still praying and waiting in God’s perfect time for one more wish on my job to be fulfilled. Keep praying for all of us especially for world peace.

I’ve been praying for a grace to do a certain work project with a constant diligence and being abled to finish it as perfect as I could do where I had been constantly failed even when I was just starting it. It has been about 4 weeks since I’ve started the project and I’m receiving so much grace and help to be able to finish it one by one. I’m still now asking for her prayer as well as other saints (St. Augustine, St. Yoseph & St. Mary, St. Luke, St Catherine Bologna).
Thanking God for saving my family from fire outbreaks….,Protection upon us so far and his journey mercies.
I was praying St Anne to help me pass a test and she did. I am thankful for that.

After my father’s death there were hurtful words between family members. Which resulted in no contact. I offered my novena for the reconnection of these family members and upon completion of my St. Monica novena, I learned a cordial email had been exchanged between the two of them! Contact had been reestablished. God is good…all the time.
Prayer answer: after three months of almost no rain and the States of Idaho, Oregon, and Washington being of fire for months the rain has come. The fires will not be out until is snows but they are less and there is no longer smoke in the air. The smoke covered all three states and traveled all the way to Texas. But the biggest miracle is that my child like faith in God has been renewed. I was remained that God controlled even the air I breathed.
Thanks be to God! My son has finally been diagnosed. While we r still praying for a miracle that he be completely healed. We r glad that we know what’s going on. Now we continue to pray also for the right medicine to be approved by the insurance company
I prayed this novena with you all and it is so rewarding to feel connected in prayer with everyone. I am praying for my children and their walk with the Lord. They are 18 and 20 yrs old and are great kids but have many trials with school and peer pressure. My son has needed the most prayer as he is in high school and undecided of his college. My intentions for both are to mature and know the Lord and be that light to others. Both have really demonstrated somethings to me and I know that they are on the right course in life.
Please help me pray that I can find a new work with good salary and benefits..plesse do hear my prayer request..amen
I thank God for his mercies. My wife and I started the novena and I have seen Gods mercies. Our prayer point was for God to unite us as a family soon since I was in a different country and she was in a different country with the kids. I just received the mail I have been praying for confirming my permanent residence status. Allowing us one more step to be united, Only God could have done this because we have been faced with so much challenges. God is faithful.
With everyone praying with me my request was granted. My grandson was born healthy. After my daughter had a stillborn baby girl we were very concern. But with your prayers and God’s help,we were blessed.

Thanks to St. Monica for her intercession! It took 3 years for my husband’s annullment to come through; a month and a half before it came we asked our pastor if he could do anything. He told us that we could have a civil marriage if we didn’t want to wait any longer. We did get married by the local magistrate. But, but my husband surprised me by not wanting to get it convalidated, after the annullment papers arrived. It’s been 8 years; and my husband stopped going to mass. Halfway through the Novena to St. Monica, out of the blue, my husband decided that finally, finally he wanted to get our marriage convalidated. Praise God! Our date for the convalidation service is October 3, which is incidentally the same day as that of our civil marriage; that’s part of the answered prayers. My husband didn’t want two different anniversaries, if we could help it.
We had prayed for comfort to come to our daughter and her husband after a recent miscarriage. And for her faith not to be affected negarively. The day after the novena ended we got a beautiful letter ecpressing all her pain and suffering and the great strengthening of her faith .
Praise God. We also prayed for our niece who was dying of cancer snd had no faith. She died yesterday and not one but three priests were there with her she prayed and was given the last sacrament. Thank you St Monica.
Our son was without a job for 2 years. During the St. Monica novena, he was called and offered a job out of the blue by his friends whose company my son has worked for before. He is a happy working man now. Thank you Saint Monica and all the saints I prayed to, during that time :)
I thank God for this novena. My husband has been receiving the Blessed Sacrament for two weeks consecutively unlike his belief that once a year reception of the Body and Blood of Christ. I pray we grow in Lord. Amen
I prayed this novena for my amazing boyfriend who was in need of an internship and possible future job. He’s gone back to college as an adult and God has provided so much. After weeks of searching, he got the call for an interview on Sept 8th!! He got the internship and it’s paid. Thank you Mary! Praise God!
I prayed the novena for the return of the lapsed catholics in my family and on the last day of the novena, I received a very unexpected phone call. It was my uncle! I have not heard from him in years and years. On that day he told me he was returning to the church and asked me for advice and we talked for about 2 hours! Praise Jesus and Thanks to St Monica for taking my petitions to God.
I prayed the St. Monica novena and prayed for my husband who has been experiencing some medical issues. I was frightened that something would be seriously wrong as he was experiencing a lot of pain and symptoms that we thought resembled those of his mom who passed away from colon cancer. After praying and asking for healing, he went to the Dr. on Monday and thanks to God he is fine. To God all the praise and glory!!

My son in law was off from church for the past 2 yrs before that he used to go to church but what happened we dont know however after I prayed this novena he has decided to go to church, and has made his confession also. My daughter had been struggling to pass one particular section of her teacher certification test so she could get a new job and get out of a toxic work situation. After praying for this intention for several novenas she passed the test in August and obtained a new teaching position. At a Catholic school no less! Thank you for your prayers! God is so good!
Thank you for the St.Monica Novena. My son has been waiting 3 yrs for a kidney transplant. After praying this Novena for him a stranger heard of
his need and offered her kidney. Prayers do get answered.
When my college boyfriend and I broke up back in 2009, I began praying a novena to St Monica. Initially I had prayed for God’s plan for us in the hopes that meant getting back together. I have prayed the novena on and off for several years, all for varying intentions, but mostly surrounding God’s plan for my life. Fast forward 5yrs later, I am engaged to a wonderful man and on the last day of the novena, it was brought to my attention that St. Monica’s feast day is the day he and I have set to be married! To add to this answer to prayer, my college boyfriend’s mother reached out and told me August 27th of this year, my college boyfriend entered the seminary. I am still in amazement at such a beautiful answer to a prayer started long ago.
I prayed for success in finishing school among other things and I have successfully finished my program. Thank you God.
I prayed for my daughter to gain admission into year 7 in a new school after being turned down. Today her admission letter came through and she starts school on Tuesday. Praise God. And thanks to all who joined in prayer.

I give you thanks to St.Monica, after I said that novena my son has a changed of heart. Also, He got a job, being laid off for 4 months. Yes, God answered our prayers His own time.
I have been praying for compete healing of my left knee, no more pain, inflammation, tear and stiffness. I was told on Monday I would need surgery. On Wednesday I got a call from the doctor’s office saying everything had been worked out with insurance and I am scheduled for surgery October 8th. Thank you Jesus, nobody but Jesus could have moved in that mighty way! Thanks to all of you and everyone who was in prayer for me because Prayer does work. Prayer is an Almighty Powerful Tool, if your prayers have not been answered yet, please don’t give but continue to pray, it took a year, four months and two weeks for me, but I never stop believing that God would someday open the doors that was closed to me and heal me it was my time. Thank you again so much!
My sister, who suffers from lupus and multiple myeloma, has a mammogram which showed three masses. I had started the novena to St. Monica just before she was to see the surgeon. She underwent a biopsy and we just found out that they are benign. Thank you, Saint Monica.
I was praying for my son’s faith and job improvement. The job results weren’t exactly what I was looking for–he got fired. He thanked me for the prayers so that was an improvement. He used to make fun of prayer. We decided the firing could be a partial answer as he now will be looking for a different job–that could be the answer.
I have been praying for 25 years for my brother in law to come back to the church. In the last week of his battle with cancer he made his confession and made full communion in the church, he died 4 days later. Not the way I thought he would come back but I accept Gods Holy and perfect plans.

In speaking with my daughter this morning she told me that she and her husband have been doing better in their marriage! Thanks for all of your prayers and I felt your strength as we were praying the Novena together! Our God is truly an AWESOME GOD!!!!
I prayed for conversion and a return to Mass and the sacraments for my husband. At the end of the novena, I invited him to join me in a 10-week retreat, with a group, doing Fr. M. Gaitley’s Consoling the Heart of Jesus book/retreat. He enthusiastically agreed to join me and has been attending Mass since August.
Thank you for your prayers. My son has returned to attending Mass and takes my grandson with him every Sunday. Happy Days!!
My 7 year old son had shown tendencies for disobedience, played very rough and was very easily distracted from school work. I had been praying for a change in his dispositions and was amazed to see a great change in him after the Novena to St. Monica. He is not yet there but he has made tremendous progress to the glory of God. Thank You Jesus for listening to the intercessions of Mother Mary , St. Monica and all those who prayed with and for me!
I want to share that on the last day of praying a novena I got a call that all my son’s legal problems were going to be handled by a family friend! he is now done with all of it and he is doing amazing, I still need prayers to continue to lead him to live a God like life and always turn to God for the answers. My house was in foreclosure and the sale date already past. I kept looking for the sheriff to send an eviction notice but kept praying for you a miracle. I was just presented with a loan modification.
I don’t know how this happened and all I can say is thank you for the prayers, thank you Lord and thank you for the novenas .
This was the first time I prayed the St. Monica Novena. I had asked that my request to have my salary reviewed for possible increase be considered. (BTW…I’ve asked for this for the past 2 years.) Well my boss came back to me 2 weeks later and said we’re not going to adjust your salary, we are going to promote you with a salary increase! I was not expecting this at all…God heard my prayers through the intercession of St. Monica and the wonderful people praying this Novena! Thank you.
I prayed the St Anne Novena for my daughter’s success in her exams, my son’s success to find a job in his field and other intentions. These two were answered and am stilled continuing the other intentions with the novenas following, hoping that God will answer them. To God be the glory.
I have been praying with this group for almost two years now, one of my favorite novena is the St. Anne novena. I have prayed all the novena prayers my intentions and it seems like I would have my request granted, but to God be the glory I have started receiving ANSWERS to my requests. God indeed has been faithful, I just passed a 6weeks pre-sessional course in English Language, I have also been offered an admission for Masters program at the university of my choice, the lists are so endless as I look forward to more answers to my request especially for a life partner. St Anne my patron Saint, pray for us, all you saints in heaven pray for us. Thank you all for prayers, am glad to be a part of this group God bless us all.
I am so grateful for these Novena’s and the prayers of everyone.. I asked for prayer for my grandson who had a very serious addiction to drugs.
Since the previous Novena he is in recovery and is working on his program. One day at a time. I truly believe it is the answere to prayer.
I am grateful just for today, he is not using drugs. There is always hope with The Lord.

This is the first time I participare in this group. My sister had a huge problem because her daughter was going to sign her divorce papers last week. They have four children. I invited my sister to pray the Santa Monica novena together with me. I told her Santa Monica prayed for her son for 15 years. We had been praying for one year. Well, last Friday the couple accepted an invitation to a marital encounter and there they renewed their vowes, confessed and decided to try to fight for their marriage. We are very grateful to Santa Monica. Help us continue praying for this couple.

God is good. My husband was diagnosed with cancer on August 17. I prayed that we caught it early. The pathology came back at Stage 1. He won’t be needing chemotherapy.
i prayed the St. Monica novena for my family and friends that have fallen away from the Church. I prayed specifically for my sister who has been away from the Church for more than 50 years. This week, she enthusiastically agreed she would like to do a Bible study with me. I will continue to pray that this will lead her home to the Church. Praise and glory be to God!
I offered the St. Monica Novena for my daughter’s attendance at the Eucharistic Congress in Charlotte. I prayed that she would be touched by the Lord’s presence, especially in the Blessed Sacrament, and receive graces that would flow to strengthen her faith and guide her will as she prepares for her comfirmation. I really wanted her to enjoy the experience and see the power and beauty of Christ’s Church–and she did!
I prayed through the intercession of St. Monica for my son who had difficulty accepting his new school. I asked St. Monica to pray for him and help him to accept the school. Right now, my son is so excited to go off to school. I thank God for answering my prayers through St. Monica, God be praised!!! Amen

I have been praying to St. Joseph for the past two years that our cottage would sell. I buried a statue of him at the beginnig of the summer on that propery. I was getting impatient with trying to sell it. Knowing St. Monica is the ultimate in role model in patience, I then prayed the St. Monica novena on top of that and we sold our cottage shortly after completing it! I guess it takes a tag team of saints to get something done sometimes! Feel so blessed!
We have been praying for my husband to get a job and he did. Thank you Jesus!!
Though I have a long way to go in my spiritual life, I prayed for myself to get past my depression/anxiety since my Mom’s death, and for my marriage to be stronger, and for my oldest children to return to their faith. I definitely feel a difference in my marriage, and I know my prayer for the faith of my children is a work in progress, but my oldest son and his girlfriend had one of the flowers from my Mom’s casket preserved beautifully for me, which has touched my heart in a way I can’t explain. I take it as a sign of things to come!
I have been following some of the novenas and I have been asking for a job before I round up my service year..
And now I’m faced with job offers just three weeks to the end of my service year…just praying for God’s guidance towards making the best choice.
I thank God.
I am happy to say my prayers have been answered through the novena to St. Monica. I had been waiting for months for my insurance company to honour a claim which I had sent to them for serious repairs to my house. I had almost given up, not until I prayed the novena and got results. I also got my prayers answered for the St Anne’s novena.
I continue to thank God for His blessings and goodness to me and my daughter. God is good!!!
I have been praying for security in my job and I have been Blessed with a good job – Thank you Jesus and all your Saints for my abundant blessings!
I thank God and give glory to Him for answering my prayers. I prayed for my sister to find a good fiance and marriage am here to confirm that my sister E will be getting engaged this December . I also prayed for my in law Z to get pregnant after 15 years in marriage without conceiving St Monica intervened and she is now 4 months pregnant. Praise be to God our Lord.
I thank God for this family of pray more novenas. I have always been asking God in each novena that He may grant my siblings sponsorship and behold they have sponsorship now. May the Name of the Lord be Praised now and forever. Amen
My brother was blessed with employment after one very long year, and lots of praying. Thank you Lord Jesus for granting us this blessing and to St. Monica, your faith has been an inspiration to my family. He has been a worry to my mother but the love that St Monica had for her son and faithfulness of our Father in Heaven has kept my Mother in devoted prayer and an example to the entire family.
