In 1858, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to a young peasant girl named Bernadette in Lourdes, France.
Through a set of private revelations, Our Lady revealed herself as, “the Immaculate Conception.”
Through Bernadette (St. Bernadette), Mary revitalized the faith of millions, and continues to do so.
If you couldn’t tell, the next novena we will pray is the Novena to Our Lady of Lourdes! ;)
We will start praying on February 2nd!
The devotion to Our Lady of Lourdes is most well-known for the miraculous cures and healing of illness & disease.
So one of the intentions we will pray for throughout this novena is for healing. In one way or another, we are all in need of it, especially before we reach Heaven — whether that healing is for one of our sins, or healing of our infirmities.
We will also pray for the conversion of sinners, including ourselves. This was an important intention in Bernadette’s life, and she offered up much of her physical suffering for this cause.
And lastly, we will also pray for the faith of those who have fallen away from the Church, for those who are lukewarm in their faith, and for greater faith to be practiced within all families.
We hope you will join us in praying this novena, and that you will share it with all of your friends & family.

The feast of Our Lady of Lourdes is on February 11th, which was also proclaimed as World Day of the Sick by St. John Paul II.

As someone who has gone through anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, and everything that accompanies it, I will definitely pray for him; and for your family as well. I just turned 39 and have been living with it since I was 22. No longer the suicidal thoughts, but the anxiety and depression that seem to be some sort of definite issue of life that never really leaves completely. The great part is that it gets easier and easier with every day! Your son is gonna get a lot better and stronger by virtue of God placing this “challenge” in his life!

Kevin’s Mother, my sister, Nancy Crichton, has been ill since September, 2017, with an auto-immune disease that is affecting her lungs, her muscles and her bones. Five treating doctors cannot diagnose this disease. She fights so hard every day to do what she can to get by.

Mother Mary, please intercede for tiny baby Desmond who is still in his mother’s womb. Desmond has been found to have severe heart defects and will have to have heart surgery as soon as he is born. His condition is very life threatening. His mom and dad have great faith and are praying for a miracle, but at least for Desmond to be able to be born and live after surgery.

For our Granddaughter who is Epileptic.
For Grandma who is Epileptic and is being tested for cancer and surgery.
For our priest who is taking a leave of absence.
For our dog who is Epileptic.
For our friend who is going through surgery.
Pray for greater family bonding among my siblings, mum, nieces and nephews. Pray that my partner will be filled with the knowledge of the catholic faith. Pray that will find God’s grace,love and mercies. Pray for wisdom for my son.

Our Lady of Lourdes please intercede so my daughter understands the importance of going to see her doctor. Its extremely important. I also pray for my cousin who is recovering from cáncer. Thank you for all who are praying with me.
