In 1858, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to a young peasant girl named Bernadette in Lourdes, France.
Through a set of private revelations, Our Lady revealed herself as, “the Immaculate Conception.”
Through Bernadette (St. Bernadette), Mary revitalized the faith of millions, and continues to do so.
If you couldn’t tell, the next novena we will pray is the Novena to Our Lady of Lourdes! ;)
We will start praying on February 2nd!
The devotion to Our Lady of Lourdes is most well-known for the miraculous cures and healing of illness & disease.
So one of the intentions we will pray for throughout this novena is for healing. In one way or another, we are all in need of it, especially before we reach Heaven — whether that healing is for one of our sins, or healing of our infirmities.
We will also pray for the conversion of sinners, including ourselves. This was an important intention in Bernadette’s life, and she offered up much of her physical suffering for this cause.
And lastly, we will also pray for the faith of those who have fallen away from the Church, for those who are lukewarm in their faith, and for greater faith to be practiced within all families.

The feast of Our Lady of Lourdes is on February 11th, which was also proclaimed as World Day of the Sick by St. John Paul II.

Dear St. Bernard please intercede for us to Our beloved Lady of Lourdes, I pray for our home to be a shrine of Peace, Love, Respect and Labour. I mostly pray for my son who’s faith is tested and leading him to being confused at the moment on his last year class to confirmation.
I Pray for the Holy Spirit to visit him, not to turn away from his Faith hang on to the Lord and allow him to use him as His Temple of the Holy Spirit. I pray for him and all the other teenagers questioning the Catholic Faith they grew around. I pray for protection all around me and my home. I pray for good things at work and good relationships all around. I pray for a drastic decrease in my home tax assessment. I pray for love and a husband. I pray that my birthday party will be a success and very happy. I will hold my own. I pray for good friends all around. I pray for my son and his return to Atlanta. I pray for an increase in my financial picture and that I will have abundance in that area for me, my son and my family. I will help others. I pray for that mountain home and property. I pray for guidance about where I should live and ask for directions in this matter. I pray for healing in my family, especially with my sisters. I am a mother of two sons who have not practiced their Faith in many years. Please help them to see the need for their daily communication with their Maker and Savior
and the resulting grace that should be the most important part of their lives. Let them feel the love of your Son and the need of His guideance in making decisions and especially the need of God’s never ending offering of grace.

I pray that I am able to buy food to feed my children, pay my bills & pay for car repairs (brakes).

I have been unemployed for sometime now & my resources have run out. I am a single parent of 2 teens w/ autism who has been struggling for a long time.
