The next novena we’re going to pray as a community is one of our favorites, it’s the St. Therese of Lisieux Novena!
Pope Pius X called St. Therese “the greatest saint of modern times.” She’s well known for her “little way” spirituality of doing small, ordinary things with extraordinary love. She wrote in her autobiography, “What matters in life is not great deeds, but great love.”
We will start praying this novena on Wednesday, September 22nd. You can share your prayer intentions with us all below in the comments!
St. Therese suffered a great deal in her life. She lost her mom when she was a young girl. One of her older sisters became like a second mother to her, and St. Therese missed her when her sister entered a convent. St. Therese also suffered from chronic illness and depression. Through it all, she continued to look towards Jesus.
She’s a great example for all of us — a reminder to cling to Jesus through whatever each of us may be going through right now. Let’s look to Jesus!

Dear Jesus, Mary and St. Therese, please heal and protect my family, friends and I. Please Bless us 🙏 Spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally.
I pray for chino that God will take him safely back to school, help him to be given hostel room immediately he reach school, help him to get roommates of good behaviour, intelligent and hard working students with fear of God. That God will draw chino closer to Jesus and make him a good Christian, that God will help him to participate actively in the tutorial and revision classes and also grant him success in all his resit exams and help him to be promoted to 300 level, may God heal Chino and help him to remain in good health . May God create inside chino the hunger and strong desire and zeal to read hard and pass with excellent grades. complete recovery from the Covaid virus, in which i was hospitalized for a month.
complete recover for my friend Laurie who was vaccinated and has been in hospital for a week and doctors dont know what is wrong with her, they say its not covaid. She is on oxygen, opens her eyes sometimes. i am praying for a miracle of health for her and for doctors for a diagnosis. i also ask for prayers for the family.
Please pray that foraminal narrowing in C2 to C6 in neck from arthritis heals so that not pressing on nerves .Also that no more inflammation in any of joints.

Before I begin my prayer request I want to give thanks to God for all that he has blessed me with, all the prayers that He answered that I almost gave up on, and the trials he put me through to help me become stronger in my Faith and in His Word.
My first prayer request is for my oldest son. He is struggling with friends, acceptance in social settings/peers, and being discontent with his life. He is only 11. Please Lord, reach down to him and provide him with at least some quality friends that share common interests with him and reciprocate friendship.
My second request is that you continue to watch over our business and that we not only provide top quality work, but that we are also able to do so in a timely manner with quality workers. Specifically I pray for these next 4 houses. Lord we cannot do this without you. Please let out business reflect that we are good Christian people, and are working to reflect out love of the Lord.
Lastly, please help us in out Faith. Please continue to help us grow in Truth. Give us the strength for our roots to be deep.

I pray for a financial miracle, financial prosperity, financial stability and a release of my financial debt.
I pray for resources to repair/replace my air conditioner.
I pray to rise out of poverty.
I pray to earn A’s in all of my classes, pass the registry on the first attempt, graduate and find a good job so I may support my children and rise out of poverty. Every time I have an exam serious problems pop up and my grades suffer. I am barely passing one of my main classes. It seems as though the devil is attacking so I can’t complete my program and help my family.
I pray for healing of my daughter from a CSF leak, heart problems, kidney disease, daily chronic debilitating pain, autism, anger, depression, and anxiety.

*Rachael, the mother of three beautiful teenagers, would be healed of the cancer that has aggressively invaded her body for the second time, and that the treatment recommended by the Cleveland Clinic succeeds. I also pray for her spiritual healing, as she is the only member of her family who is not a believer.
*I can discern God’s will as to whether I should move to the apartment close to my family, or remain where I currently reside. If I move, I pray that an apartment becomes available in God’s perfect time, so I am not forced to break my current lease which would cause extreme financial burden.
*I would lose weight.
*Jim would seek and be granted an annulment from his first marriage, have his current marriage blessed in the Catholic Church, and return as a practicing Catholic.
*Jordan, Sarah, Catherine, Warren and Jeremy would convert to Catholicism.
*Jennifer would become financially stable, pay off the credit card that is in my name and pay me back the money she owes me.
*Catherine is completely healed of Covid-19, and thanksgiving that the rest of the family did not get it.
*this Pandemic is eradicated from the world.
*all the intentions on the Holy Cross Prayer Line are answered in God’s perfect time and way, and that each person offering prayer requests is blessed with the peace that defies understanding while awaiting God’s perfect will.
*every person attempting escape from Afghanistan is able to do so safely, and is guided and protected by the grace of God in the interim. I also pray that the weapons left there by this administration’s carelessness, never be used against the United States.
*God would keep America safe from all attacks by terrorists, and bring peace to Afghanistan.
*the crisis at our southern border could be resolved in a humane way, and that those entering America with evil intent would be found and brought to justice.
*this “Catholic” President and his party would realize their moral obligation to respect life from conception to natural death by ending taxpayer funding of the atrocities of abortion, infanticide, legalized suicide and euthanasia.
*the radical left is prohibited from controlling what is being taught to our children in school relating to Critical Race Theory, White Surpremecy, Gender Identity, disrespect for the American Flag and the U.S. Constitution, and a distorted version of American History .
*Pam and Tracy would continue to do the work necessary to improve their marriage.
