At some point in our lives, each of us will be affected by cancer or another terminal disease.
Whether it affects us directly or indirectly, it can cause great suffering in our lives.
So many of the prayer requests we receive are for those suffering with cancer.
So the next novena we will pray is the St. Peregrine Novena for Cancer Patients starting on Sunday, January 12th — that’s just a few days away.
St. Peregrine is the patron saint of cancer patients. He had a cancerous ulcer on his leg which was miraculously cured when it was thought to be beyond saving.
So we will pray this novena for all cancer patients, all those suffering from life-threatening illnesses, for their families & friends, as well as for physicians and scientists working to discover a cure and to bring relief.
We hope you will join us in praying this novena, and that you will share it with all of your friends & family.

St. Peregrine’s feast day is May 1st. But as with every novena, you can pray it any time of the year — and we will start this one on January 12th. That’s just a few days away, so be sure to get the word out!

Lord hear my prayer I pray that I get the dentist job and that I can still see Rebecca Martinez on Monday and that I can see Carol on Thursday still. I pray that if I get a job I can start on Tuesday and still go to the dentist on Monday Feb 17th. I also pray that you heal my depression and anxiety.

Lord Jesus, Mary Mother of God, & All Saints: Please pray for my brother & his family for the sudden death of their son. Please bless our oldest son that his is happy/successful in his job, thank you for blessing him w/S, that his health will be good and his faith grow daily. Please bless our middle son with a good job; please bless him with a nice Christian lady friend, that his depression will be healed, and that he will make right choices in his life, that his faith will grow daily. Please bless our daughter that his medicine will heal her pituitary tumor. That she will be happy/successful in her new job. Please bless her fiancé and her wedding day with good weather & love-happiness. Please bless my marriage that it will grow in faith and love daily. Amen.
Lord hear my prayer I pray that everything goes good tomorrow at the interview and I stay calm but I still don’t get hired on the spot because I am not prepared to. I also pray for Herb that he doesn’t die now and that he’s healthy and that I can take him on Tuesday.

I asked during the last novena for cancer patients that you would pray for Julia, things looked really bad. Just had to share this update we got today:

Just got this text from SUSAN!!!
Miracle
Miracle
Miracle!!!
Julia was in ICU for 8 days. She was unconscious. Her heart was at 40% function. She was on oxygen and a 24 hr dialysis machine. Her liver was also failing. Dr’s were pessimistic. They said she had too many organs failing. She was too compromised to recover. They said they would have to take her off the machines. First they said 3 days in machines. Then they said 5 days. We all kept praying. She received last rights a week ago Wednesday.
She started to wake up the following Monday. They took her off oxygen first / and were surprised she could breath by herself. Then they took her off dialysis – and two days later she urinated And she could also swallow.
When she woke up the day nurse told her the Docs just all park themselves outside her room to get a glance of her sitting up. They can’t believe she is alive. Then the cancer doc talked to Tom on Thursday and scratched his head. Says he doesn’t know why she has so few cancer cells. He says the dialysis took all the chemo out of her. So, there is no logical reason for her cancer cells to keep falling.
Thank you for your prayers!!! She has started to walk and is out of ICU. They are worried about her aggressive cancer coming back, but Dr is going to put her on “maintenance chemo”.
Still praying for total healing. But, I think her medical records depict a miraculous, unexpected healing!!!!

For Monica (a neighbor and former co-worker) who has cervical cancer – she had surgery and is doing okay but far from being out of the woods. Also for my cousin who had another stroke and has cancer as well. My daughter, Lucy, who is having tremors or seizures – the doctors have not come up with cause yet so, therefore, no medication (to giver her any relief) or course of action for treatment.

Dear Jesus, Mary, & St. Peregrine,
I am again asking for pryers for my son Anthony Peter who has cancer. He started with cancer in his rectum. Was given a clean bill of health after he had surgery. Now many months latter doctors claim there is cancer in his liver.
Anthony Peter is on Chemo treatment the past two months. This coming week a MRI will be done, then maybe another month of treatment.
My son is 45 years young, a GREAT husband and father of three beautiful children. They need him.
His family & friends need him. As I do. I hope he can be cured.

Lord hear my prayer I pray that you heal my depression and that I can see Rebecca Martinez on Feb 3 and that I can still go to the dentist on Feb 17 because it is a holiday. I also pray that I can still see Carol if I get a job and that when I see her next week she can heal my depression and help me and that my appt does not get canceled. I also pray that I don’t have anything on Thursday and that everything goes good with Herb in Physical therapy. I also pray that my depression goes away.

I also pray that if I have a job by next month I can still see Carol at 6 p.m. because I need it. I also pray that she email me back soon because I sent her my wedding picture. I also pray that I can meet with Robert on Friday and he has something for me.

Please pray for me as I have been recently diagnosed with breast cancer and am deciding on my path for treatment. I am worried about my 81 year old mother and how she will take this news as I live far from her and she isn’t well enough to travel to me. My brother has been critically ill as well over the last 6 months. Praying for clarity and healing.

Please pray for Norma Jean Jeffers fast and complete healing from her diagnosis of stage 2 breast cancer. Also, pray for her peace of mind and comfort that she’ll be free of anxiety as she entrusts herself to the Lord’s will during her surgery and recovery. Thanks so much. My prayer request, please pray for me, I have been to the hospital given different types of anti biotic and anti histamine but nothing is working. The skin is peeling off under my two breasts. I am scared it could be cancer. I have 4 boy aged 6, 9 & 14. 1 am sacred they may grow up orphans.

As we pray together for those who suffer from cancer and chronic illness, I thank the Lord for my personal cure from cancer and that of loved ones. All praise and glory to God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. I thank St. Peregrine for his intercession for the sake of those currently with cancer and those who have enduring cures. I ask for his intercession for my sister who has Stage 4 pancreatic cancer and is undergoing additional treatment for recent progression. Please look over her. Help her to maintain health and increase her nutrition as she struggles with the disease as well as the chemotherapy. My good friend, Sandy, has quit smoking after having smoked for 50 years!! She is a devout Christian and attributes this occurrence to nothing less than a miracle!! I am praying for her ability to stay quit and for the blessings of the New Year to reign in her heart and mind throughout 2020.
Also, I would like to thank God and St. Peregrine for the fact that she does not have cancer and I pray she will remain cancer free and smoke free!!

Karen, I am from a family of 6 and have often had many of the same prayers. We were raised in a tight knit loving family and we did eventually end up somewhere warm where we were able to enjoy more togetherness and memorable times. I ask all prayer warriors to please pray for us that we receive a positive report from our doctor appointment tomorrow and God guide our doctor with His wisdom and grace. I believe with all my heart my prayers will be answered soon. Pray that the Lord grant us our miracle breakthrough and hearts desire our babies twins. Dear Saint Peregrine,
I pray for my daughters to be healed from their health problems and to be blessed with healthy children soon and for my son-in-law to find good employment soon. I pray for my nephews to heal from their health problems, to have good jobs and good wives and to have children of their own. I pray for G to heal completely from all his addictions and to have a bright future. I pray for good health and financial stability for everybody in my family. I pray for my sister and my mom to be healthy. I pray for my husband and me to be healthy, to be blessed with healthy grandchildren from our both daughters, to keep our jobs and to be financially stable.
I also pray for the healing of all who are suffering from cancer and other illnesses and for the intentions of all who are praying this novena. Amen.

Healing of my fractured vertebrae
I ask St. Peregrine, ALL the Saints in Heaven, especially my Confirmation Saint, St. Cecilia,
I am going to start a new prescription to help me manage depression, anxiety, and fibromyalgia symptoms.
Please bless this medication,..may it help to cure me, not hurt or scare me with any side effects, as the previous two prescriptions had.
I prefer Jesus’s miraculous healing of my brain and emotions…but as I had been praying and waiting for deliverance, sadly much time has passed during which I had not been able to be fully the mom I need and would like to be as my child grows up..so am now open to another prescription again.
Please help all my relationships to be blessed, harmonious…balanced, emotionally healthy.

Lord hear my prayer I pray that I don’t get any calls tomorrow for an interview because I am busy tomorrow but I pray that Robert calls me and that they call me tomorrow and tell me whether I get the job tomorrow or not because I don’t want to be left hanging. I also pray that I get something before I turn 50 so I can start paying rent again.

Lord hear my prayer please heal my depression and I pray that Robert calls me tomorrow and that Jonathan from Dade Construction Corp calls me and lets me know one way or the other by 12 p.m. tomorrow and that I don’t be left hanging please have them call me. I also pray that I don’t forget to ask Robert about Feb 3 and about March 10. I also pray that it’s not a big problem to leave work every other month early because I have to see Dr. Santana.
