I haven’t started the novena yet, but I will begin right now. I will be four days behind, but I hope that’s okay. I would like to pray for so many things, but I’ll stick to these…. Please ask God to heal my twin sisters pain in her stomach and digestive system. She recently had an operation. I also ask God to help my stomach, my gut, digestive system to heal as I’ve been experiencing problems since a young kid and now ulcer type pain constantly from stress. My daughter whom I love with my whole heart has decided she can’t stand me. She stayed with me for 3 months after breaking up with her live in boyfriend. I helped her move with my car because he wanted her out. That night I stayed up till 5 a.m. the next morning washing her clothes from all her boxes. She thought I was nuts, but her boyfriend has a dog and her clothes smelled just awful, disgusting. I spent all night removing long dog hairs from her clothing and her clothes smelled like dog and like the rank awful house they were renting. Then I folded it all (she won’t, she’d leave it in a pile for months, I know I should have let it be, but when she originally moved out she left me such a mess it was mind boggling. Very self centered. Anyway, I carried boxes, moved furniture and washed and folded clothing. She helped with nothing. Twice when living here she thought she had covid, so I spent two weeks running up and down the stairs with her lunch and dinner, she doesn’t eat breakfast, going to the store to pick up prescriptions for her and starbucks coffees etc. I never told her to do it herself. I thought I was just being nice. Prob too nice upon reflection. The day she moved out of here I found a journal of hers and read to my dismay (yes! I agree, I should never have read anything in it but she was treating me so at arms length and staring at me strangely that I wanted to see what the problem was)… anyway, I read what a horrible person she thinks I am and how many problems I have (because I was physically and emotionally abused as a young child by my Father and then also by my grade one and two teacher (who was a nun…). My daughter blames me for the breakup with her boyfriend etc. I have never even talked to this boyfriend in my life nor had anything to do with their relationship, never went near them or their rented house. She moved in with him one year ago and then he finally kicked her out. He told her she has mommy issues because she doesn’t clean her mess, do her dishes, etc. Also because he wont’ pick her up in a snowstorm because he has to walk his dog, but I will. He told her all sorts of awful things about herself and therefore she blames me for how she is because I brought her up. She is needy he says, because he wants the good times and etc. but doesn’t want to commit himself to her… So he told her if she wants to be with him (after sleeping with her constantly, that she has problems if she wants to spend a lot of time with him). Anyway that is over thank goodness… but now she has much anxiety and depression and is on drugs as the result of some nutty psychologist who put her on them at University she was attending. Now, because she’s depressed re the breakup, she’s taking them again. She accuses me of abuse for not finding her a mental health person to give her drugs to deal with anxiety and depression when she told me about it (I had to drag it out of her) in grade 11 at 16 years old. But, I tried to find her someone as she well knows. It’s all ridiculous, I’ve dealt with anxiety and depression before so i stupidly thot I had a handle on it and could help her by sending her to a Baptist church counsellor. They have a give back to the community mentality and therefore if you are a psychologist or psychiatrist or psychological counsellor etc. they give back by helping out others at their church. I have attended for this help and they were very nice and welcoming and helped me a lot. There was no help at my church. However, They are professionals, but because they are at a church my daughter assumed erroneously that they were just parishioners helping out, which is not the case. Anyway, I did try to help her and when I couldn’t she saw another psychologist. She really doesn’t have that bad problems, she mostly has anxiety and it scares her so much that she feels it will take over her and this is why she gets depressed. I told her it’s normal, been there, done that, and a lot of persons get anxiety but she ignores me, has blown it out of proportion and is now on drugs for it. I told her I had handled it by exercise, by prayer, meditation and joining singing etc. She thinks this is ridiculous. Worked for me. Anyway, it Turns out I’m the problem. I’ve done everything for her in her life, she has 5 brothers, and couldn’t take the sibling rivalry with one or two of them. I understand this as I had 7 brothers and sisters. She has been spoiled unfortunately, I’m sure and I’ve loved her completely so that yes, I would drive out in a snowstorm (which I did) to pick her up in the middle of nowhere because her boyfriend wouldn’t, but now I’m the bad guy. She’s left now and never contacts us/me. I’ve tried to text her but mostly she doesn’t answer. She hates me because I inadvertently saw things I shouldn’t have when moving her. After I did I told her as gently and nicely as I could (realizing it is embarrassing for your mother to see your personal things) that she would not need such things when she met a man who really loved her for herself. She was very angry that I told her this Not sure where to turn, I feel like this is my last hope. I am trying to let God handle this but it is affecting my sleep, my stomach and my mind. My husband tries to be nice but he doesn’t understand as he’s so busy every day he doesn’t have time to think or notice that none of his kids every call him. And we are nice people and a lot of fun. So my prayer is to heal my twin sister, (we are fraternal and nothing like in any way)… to heal my daughters mind and her heart and her soul and bring her back to God and the Catholic church, to heal me physically, and spiritually… I ask God to find her a Catholic Christian man to love and respect her and be her best friend as my husband is mine. I ask for help figuring out how to live without my children anymore. One left 5 years ago for Shanghai, One for out east Canada, seven years ago, neither have come back home. I have one son here who is lovely and caring, another not too far away, who is very friendly when he can get over here to us and very loving. A son who lives downtown who sees my husbands father constantly because he gives he and my daughter $ whenever they visit him, but they won’t visit their own Dad or myself. My husband and I are nice persons, I am Catholic he is not, but he attends the Catholic church regularly with me. They’ve all left home and it’s lonely. The pandemic has made it worse. I used to write poetry for my kids, now I don’t feel inspired to do anything much. I know I need to let God handle things with my daughter but I’m afraid she won’t come back at all. I am reading a book purported to heal this situation but in it is stated that children who leave rarely come back to their parents. It hasn’t helped me to heal, just made me more depressed. Very lonely I am as pandemic has made it worse. I don’t want to complain about all of this… my husband is still working, we are older and he is not able to retire, so I spend much of my time on my own. Give him the miraculous healing of his double aortic aneurysm. Heal him also from his sleep apnea and all other related and unrelated health problems he is having. Heal my brother of his prostate cancer. Unfreeze him, and through the Holy Spirit, inspire him to make an appointment for a second opinion. He says he wants a second opinion, yet he is not taking any action. Lord, give spiritual healing and awakening to the many people in my family who are not practicing their faith–my two brothers, my nephew and his girlfriend, my nieces and another nephew and his wife, and many, many cousins, as well as my aunt. Soften their hearts and put someone on each of their paths to lead them to an encounter with you and bring them back home.

I pray that Jesus Christ, who is God can help me with the grace to stop sinning. Especially sexual immoralities. I am tired of battling with it. I don’t even know if I am battling or alone. There are times I will feel so filled with the Holy Spirit and other times, I feel so empty and I become susceptible.
