We don’t usually send out two emails on the same day, but we wanted to let you know about the next novena — it’s one of our favorites (you can scroll down to read why), and we’ll start praying it just a few days after we finish the current Novena to St. Monica.
The next novena is The Novena for Marriage and Family! We start praying on Sunday, August 30th.
St. John Paul II said, “As the family goes, so goes the nation and so goes the whole world in which we live,” so it’s really important that we pray for marriages and families to be strengthened and sanctified.
We will pray for those who are already married, for those who want to be married, for families going through difficult times, and for those in financial distress.
There’s something extra special about this novena… It leads up to the Feast of Mary’s Birthday (the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary)!
The first time we prayed this novena together as a community was eight years ago, leading up to our wedding day! It has been such a gift to pray with you :)
And it is so important that we have strong marriages and strong families. So, we are really looking forward to praying this novena once again, for Marriages and for Families!

I’m asking for God’s guidance and peace. I’m a single mother of 2 girls. My parents are 81 and 82 years old. At this moment we are evacuees due to hurricane Laura. Both houses suffered damage. It will be a long road ahead of us before everything gies back to ” normal”. Thanks for your prayers. We will need them.
