Eleven years ago, I asked John-Paul to pray the Immaculate Conception Novena with me.
He actually turned me down, because he always had trouble finishing a novena — he would always forget.
After he thought a little bit more about it, he said he knew that wasn’t a good enough reason not to join me in prayer.

Please pray for my brother in law Gustavo who is having major surgery on December 7th to remove his right eye and a cancerous tumor behind his eye as well. May Our Blessed Mother Mary intercede for him and his surgeons for a successful surgery, relief from the pain and a miracle if it is God’s will.

I also want to thank you for enabling two of my children pass A- level exams to join University. While Claire was admitted to University on Government scholarship, Andrew is finding it difficult to secure a place at University to study Medicine. Mercifully help him secure that place.

Praying for my daughter Eli and my friend’s son Manual to overcome their addiction to alcohol. Please pray with me so they can live a sober, happy life. Please pray that they can confront the triggers that drive them to drink. Eli had been sober for a couple of years and relapsed. Right now as I type I am here in the hospital hoping for the best for my little girl.
Please pray for my special needs son Jeff, who has trouble maintaining work because of his special needs. Also pray for him and his wife who also has special needs. They just got married a year ago. She works at a daycare and loves children and wishes to start a family but Jeff is apprehensive due to their special needs/ handicaps, finances, mental abilities, as to if they are capable in raising a child and meeting the needs emotionally, spiritually, financially etc. Please pray that our Lord will only give them what they can handle and that they will understand and accept only what the Lord knows what is best for them. Prayers to keep our baby girl healthy and safe. We just experienced severe bleeding and a huge gigantic blood clot today. We won’t know anything until we go to the dr tomorrow.
