…I especially pray for my daughter (who has left the church) and for my 16 year old grandson (who has not been baptized) for their conversion. They’ve had many struggles, and their life has not been easy.They do have faith but it’s not strong. Lately my grandson has been asking questions which has lead to lengthy conversations.
I have been praying the Pentecost Novena, and as it was suggested, to ask for something concrete, I prayed that my daughter and grandson would tell me that they were going to go to church on Sunday. This morning, within 1 hour of praying day two of the novena, my daughter called and told me that my grandson was going to go to church on Sunday.
I have joy! May it always shine to others.

I want to thank God for prayers answered. I was praying for my sons health he has some problems with the tendons and bones in his foot that have kept him from learning to walk. A couple days after starting the novena and also praying to Saint Kateri, Saint Zeno, Saint Padre Pio, and Our Blessed Mother he finally took his first steps! Thank you God thank you Holy Spirit and to all of those amazing saints for there intercession! I am truly in awe!
Praise The Lord, yes my prayer was answered. Our daughter received her letter of acceptance to the Washington Internship Institute and begins her fall semester August 27. God is great!
Thank you for this holy spirt novena. I am seeing some changes in my son study pattern, and I want to thank Jesus for answering my prayer, and also thank you all for your intercession. Thank you
I began this novena praying for peace within my home, and healing for my husband. Over the course of the past nine days, I have witnessed a degree of greater peace, and my husband was put on a new medication. Our situation is a little better, but not much. Still – better IS better! God be praised!
For everything I prayed during this novena I recognized a small miracle for each one. Feeling so very blessed!
One of my prayer request for my friend who is suffering with Cancer, would get better. I called her on Thursday, her voice was her old voice. She told me it was a good day! I will continue to pray to The Holy Spirit for His healing power for my friend and all who are suffering with Cancer! Her name is Carmen N Medina! I started praying this novena asking the Holy Spirit for some clarity on my husband’ s career.
Two days into the novena, my husband’s former boss who just moved to another job sat him down and told him all the details of the plans that they have for him.
It gave him a lot of peace because it was almost like he had been in limbo.
We still pray that God’s Will be done but now he has some sense of peace at work

Yes, the Holy Spirit has enlightened me with His gifts. I am fully recovering from a hip replacement surgery. Thank you Lord for being there when I needed You most. You have enkindled in me the fire of Your love.
I am in deep prayer for a request for a big family problem and yes, patience is what I feel God is calling me to- please pray for me and my family to see God’s plan in some small way- we are so tired and overwhelmed by it all- thank you!
I want to thank God for prayer answered. I began this Novena with great hope to get my RN result positive and secure a nursing job. Although the result is yet to be released I know by Mother Mary undoer of not has presented my case to God through JESUS ChRIST and the decent of the Holy spirit will perfect all errors I might have made during the exam. I submitted my resume on day one of the novena is Friday, Tuesday day five, I got a phone call to arts interview and a casual position was proposed but on day six, Wednesday, I was offered full time position. Today is Saturday, June 7th 2014. I just finished the Holy Spirit Novena and all I can say is ” Wow”. I am truly “wordless”. As I was Praying for Family unity and love I was amazed that a few of my family members broke the ice and talked through their differences, Amen and Thank You, Holy Spirit. But the biggest surprise was how the Holy Spirit has worked in me this week. I have been tearful all week as things came to my mind of how I have been less than loving or forgiving at times to my family also. This mornings end to this Novena brought out the tears in a big way, and also in a good way. I see parts of my life that I need to change, starting with a good cleansing Confession and an amends list to follow, and Yes , my cleansing tears are Joyful today. Thank You Holy Spirit for Answered Prayers. Amen
On day 6, our house sold, which was my intention. Thank you Holy Spirit! We received word on day 7, which was also the First Friday of the month.
I asked for complete recovery of health for my daughter who had a heart attack on April 26 and went into cardiac arrest. By the mercy of God, she is improving in therapy and last night was able to attend her daughters’ high school graduation. My daughter still has a hard road ahead to be completely recovered but by the intercession of the Holy Spirit and God’s grace we believe it will happen. Thank you, Jesus, for answered prayers.
We’ve been praying for employment for my daughter and received word yesterday that she was hired for a job that she really wanted. We also prayed for healing for family members and they have received positive health reports from their doctors! Thank you, Holy Spirit! Praise, honor and glory to the Holy Trinity!!
I am praying that my son William get a job. He has been looking for a job for sometime now and he is losing faith. He would like a job close to our home so he can live with us and save so he can get his own place. The other day he said that he stopped praying. I told him not to lose faith, that God has a plan for everyone. I will still pray for him to find employment (he did have a job, but unfortunately he had to leave because it was not the right fit and they lied to him on the interview about what that job entailed). I have faith that St. Jude and the Blessed Mother will hear my prayers.

join my son. It took one and a half years. Thank God, during the Holy Spirit Novena, she reached and they are together.

After two years of dating men who are non committal, I am prayed that the Holy Spirit find the man that I am supposed to be with and marry. I have a few suitors who contact me. However, there is one that sticks out due to his devotion to God and going to church. I will continue to pray and be patient. Hoping and excited to see how my petition is answered.
The answer to my specific concern was “not yet”. I’m okay with that for now. However, since we started praying for the fruits of the spirit every day at least once somehow something happened in my day that confirmed to me that I had exemplified one of those fruits in a particular situation. It was very “cool” and such a exciting moment for me.
I was about to enter into a committed relationship but had a discussion about what we expected from one another. I had asked the Holy Spirit to help me see a way if this should not be, and He did. We disagreed on one matter wholehartedly and I was enlightened that the relationship would not work. Thank you Holy Spirit!

Dear Jesus Wednesday you taught me that at time you allow past memories to return to me so that I can truly surrender them to you for proper healing. On Wednesday you took some old wounds opened them deeply and washed them with the water that flowed from your pierced side so that they will be properly healed. Thank you Jesus; Jesus I trust in you.

I prayed for a co-workers sister who has terminal cancer and journey to eternal life appears to be near. Earlier this week she has gained comfort in her illness and can now sleep through the night. We will continue to pray for a miracle.
A relative, Stephan, who is a young father fell into a coma several weeks ago. Doctors gave little hope. This week Stephan opened his eyes and was beginning to show movement. He has a long way to go and we will continue to pray for his full and complete recovery (remembering day 4…patience).
After 9 grueling months of anxiety, fear, and pain the lawsuit was finally settled. Thank you, Holy Spirit! Praise God!
I prayed for relief from the pain in my hip and back. Almost immediately, I experienced less discomfort. I give thanks for prayers answered for me and for others. My petitions are small and self serving, but I feel that I can be a better servant. Thank you everyone for praying for others.
We heard from our son who we had not heard from in nine months, and he is healthy and has a good job and is attending church.
Yes, I was worried about our finances and God provided extra work for me, the resulting income will ease our burden, which is what I prayed for. Needing to pay for medicine for my husband and keep current with our bills is an ongoing problem, but we have sought help and it is forthcoming through the good graces of the Lord.

Everytime I pray one of the novenas, it seems I keep tacking on additional petitions along the way. My prayer is always so generic. Please Lord, draw my children, grandchildren, myself and my husband closer to you. I know He is working. The evidence comes in very small glimpses and subtle ways. Specifically, I prayed for my daughter to pass on to the next grade and Praise God, she did! We had quite a difficult beginning of the year and she had a tremendous amount of ground to make up and with the help of God, she did it! Thank you. Holy Spirit! Please continue to draw us all to you! Amen!

During this time I am in the process of completing the Life in the Spirit Seminar . We had the lay on of hands on Friday night and I know through constant prayer and praying the novena daily I received the abundant gifts of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Holy Spirit for this great experience.
My mom has been coughing up blood for years. It has been an emotionally exhausting journey for her. She is 85 years old! I invited my sisters to join me in this novena exclusively for mom’s healing. Our prayers were answered on the 5th day if the novena! She has a bacteria similar to TB; she needs strong meds for a year but we FINALLY know what’s going on. Thank you might Holy Spirit. May God bless you abundantly for helping all of us pray more novenas.
I thank God that One of My prayer request that have been answered and I have hope that others will be answered with time. I have been waiting for some short term work for the lat six months and this week was called that it has been approved and I am going to start next week. Thanks be to God, Mother Mary and Holy Spirit and to all those who have been praying with me. I will continue praying and i will never give up.
I ask for prayers for my health and the weight on my body and in my life become lighter.
I have prayed the last several novenas for help in finding my husband a job that doesn’t make him sick with concern about losing some of the income we need to have to make ends meet because it is also a concern that worried us both. Day 2 at noon when we were at the local restaurant celebrating our one time we allow in a month to eat out and all the hard work we had just finished, he got a job offer for a position he never applied for that a business in town is creating. They will match his pay and benefits. Praise The Lord! Both a new job and our financial concerns were met.
Thank you yes I feel much better about things others have done to me that hurt and the sadness has left me and I can be me again. That is better.

Kindly read the CCC, Church fathers, Thomas Aquinas, etc. Pentecost is not the birthday of the Church! The Church was born from the side of Christ as he was pieced in His side as He hung on the cross. Thus the Church is the “bride” of Christ just as Eve was the bride of Adam as she came forth from his side as he was “asleep”. This is a very important concept to understand marriage, etc.
Pentecost is when the Church was made manifest to the world and as I like to put it – when the apostles got their “guts”- because the Holy Spirit was so infused in them.

I prayed for God Almighty to take control of some situations that were threatening to bring sadness to my family and he did.

I’m praying for a job transfer. I was interviewed yesterday but I know I answered some of their questions incorrectly and now I’m leaving it in the hands of God… But I really wish that I will get that job. I will continue to pray for my daughters conversion and healing , my sons healing, my husbands healing, for peace and financial assistance.
Maybe, but not quite sure. We have a very desperate legal situation that arose at the beginning of this novena and it looked as if no one would help us, until yesterday. A lawyer said they would look into our situation and he was very compassionate. Please pray that he agrees to help us fight this unfair battle! Come Holy Spirit Come!

I have been praying that my son who graduated from college 6 months ago gets a job. On the 1st day of the novena he passed a screening , day 5 he had an interview. That is more than has happened in months. Please continue to pray that he gets good news next week. But so thankful for these answered prayers, in Jesus’s name. May the Holy Spirit descend upon my son & lead him where he needs to be.
Thanks be to God! One of my (many) requests was answered on Thursday, in that I found a school for my daughter, for the next school year. It is a private school, so my next prayer is that God will provide a way for us to afford the school. I am confident that if this is the right school, God will provide an avenue for the funding of her education.
God the Father, she is your daughter, whom you entrusted to our care, we know that Your plan is most important, show us the way. Jesus, I trust in you! Thank you Holy Spirit! I place all of my petitions in Our Lady’s hands, with St. Joseph by your side, with the Communion of Saints.

All these so far my prayers have not been answered. What my heart most desire does not seem to come through for me.

I asked the Holy spirit to interfere in my husbands name. He has been battling severe depression after his open heart surgery 3 years ago.
Finally this week he letme read some simptoms of depression and accepted medical help. His taking his medication and in imly 3 days I can see change in him.

prayed for a decent job for my husband, he got a call for an interview for next week. I placed Fridays Novena in Gods hands because it is being put to the test everyday and it pertains to my brother who is mentally challenged and has brought chaos to our entire family since the passing of oyr mother on December 20 th 2013.
Since d begining of this year we(my family) have being praying 4 a house & a car of our own. Last nigth my boss gave some amount to deposit 4 a car by next week he will complete d said amount 4 d car. Thank God for answered prayers.

During the course of the novena i sent my cv and was invited for a phone interview in my dream field within 24 hours. Thanking God for the opportunity and pray i will be chosen for the position.
My father was diagnosed with cancer during this novena. I knew he was ill. This novena has lifted my heart and given me many graces to assist me. I ask for prayers to guide our wonderful medical staff and for God’s mercy. If it be His holy Will, heal my dad.

The key word is patience. Although I can’t say a specific prayer was answered, I am most grateful for this novena The review of gifts has been very helpful in preparing for the commemoration of this great event of the Church. Thank you for putting me in mind of how the apostles huddled together in prayer over these nine days in waiting, as we also wait, for Jesus promise of the Paraclete.
I really want to thank God for the gift of miracle as I have been in trouble with a friend who withheld something that belongs to me, on the day 2 of this Novena, the Holy Spirit touched him & he wrote me telling me he will send it back to me. I really look unto other prayer requests looking unto the Holy Spirit & I know it will be done. Thank You Holy Spirit.

I have been praying the past 3 Novenas for my daughter to get a permanent job. On the 5th day of The Pentecost novena my daughter got invited to 4 interviews for a permanent job. Now we are crossìng our fingers that out of this she lands Herself a job. I thank God already for his goodness and for an indication that he really hears us praying and In His good time he responds. So Patience pays and is cherished gift of the Holy Spirit. Amen. I thank you all for praying together.

I was praying for help to renew my marriage and by day five of the novena a friend sent my husband a link to a marriage renewal seminar and the dates turned out to be the dates we were going to have help from out of town to take care of our kids. Couldn’t have worked better!!

I have a lot of bills and some weeks I could not pay them but since starting this novena I am able to pay something each week I didnt ask for anything but to pray each day the prayers so When he sends me more I will be able to send a donation thank you for all your prayers I will always pray for you both
When I started with this Novena my mother was in hospital, she couldn’t talk, couldn’t eat, couldn’t move willingly. My prayers have been answered as she now can eat and talk, even though she is still in hospital but there is a difference in her condition. I sincerely thank Nontando Mthethwa for sharing this site with me. Mostly I give praise to the Almighty for hearing and answering my prayers. Patience is the key, pray with faith and let God perform HIS miracles.

I have been praying for my husband’s immigration papers be approved and yesterday on day 7 of this novena he received a mail from immigration that his visa is now ready…thank you Holy Spirit and please continue to intercede for us in this immigration case. My husband has been in this country for 30 something years and has had immigration problems but this time with your help Holy Spirit there will be no problem. Thank You once more for Your intercession!
I struggle constantly to be gentle with a certain employee, and the prayers today for gentleness helped immensely! Of course, because I’d prayed specifically for gentleness, I could feel the devil reminding me of all my anger and frustration so that it almost blinded me. Instead of giving in and snapping in frustration, I took some deep breaths and prayed again to the Holy Spirit. I was then able to address the situations that arose gently and patiently. Praise the Lord!
