The next novena we’re praying is a first for us — it’s the Novena to Saints Peter and Paul!
St. Irenaeus called them the two most glorious Apostles.
Church tradition has always celebrated St. Peter and St. Paul on the same day — their feast day is June 29th.
St. Augustine of Hippo said, “Both apostles share the same feast day, for these two were one; and even though they suffered on different days, they were as one. Peter went first, and Paul followed. And so we celebrate this day made holy for us by the apostles’ blood. Let us embrace what they believed, their life, their labors, their sufferings, their preaching, and their confession of faith.”
We’ll begin their novena on Sunday, June 20th! And you can share your prayer intentions below!
St. Peter is the patron of fishermen, net makers, and ship builders, while St. Paul is the patron of authors, the press, publishers, and writers.
During this novena, we’ll pray for us all to grow in faith and in our trust in the Lord.
We’ll pray that we will become better evangelists, sharing Christ with others.
We’ll pray for our priests, for those discerning religious life, and for those in parish and ministry work.
We’ll pray for our families and communities — for our faith to be a priority and the foundation in our lives.

Please pray that my son comes back to being a Christian. He married a woman who is a deist and subsequently walked away from the church. At one point he was going to become a pastor, so this is a complete 180. What’s worse is that he tells my grandkids that Jesus was a myth and the Bible is a work of fiction. He has cut all ties with me and his brother so I don’t get to see him or the grandkids unless through his ex-wife (whom I dearly love).
Please pray he finds his way back to church and into our lives.
Please pray for my husband and for increased faith and hope in God. Bless him with work and a continued perseverance in his life and involvement with his wife and children.
Please pray for a friend who is having a tumor removed from her abdomen. May it be cancer free. Give her hope and a spirit to persevere.

I am struggling. My husband had Covid after two days after the vaccine and became deathly ill for 8-9 weeks. In the meantime my dad was dying. He passed on 5/17. 11 days later I had a stroke and fell down a flight of stairs resulting in a concussion. I got of hospital on June 6 and 3 days later my brother died from upper respiratory disease. He volunteered on 9/11 and beyond and contracted this horrible disease and head and neck cancer. Please pray for strength for my family and I. Thank You. God Bless.

I ask for prayers for my children, ages 9, 11, and 15, to help the fall in love with Jesus and our Blessed Mother. Specially the 11 and 15 yr old who are grieving ( we all are grieving in different ways) and very upset with the departure of their father, my beloved husband, who went to our eternal home on April 11th-Divine Mercy Day.
Recently, both of them speak about no longer believing on God and have alluded to the idea that the enemy is or might be good. I listen to their wonders and pray to continue to be strong, loving, and caring telling them that going to church and heaven is not negotiable in our home. Also, I pray for the conversion of my sister and her family; and the conversion of my stepbrother who is in jail and his family.
