We’re excited to announce that the next novena we’re praying is the original novena!
Novenas are an ancient tradition that goes back to the days of the Apostles.
Jesus told His disciples to pray together after His ascension into heaven, so they went to an upper room along with the Blessed Virgin Mary, (Acts 1:14) and joined constantly in prayer for nine days.
These nine days of constant prayer by the Apostles at the direction of Jesus led up to Pentecost. This is when the Holy Spirit descended upon the disciples as “tongues of fire” (Acts 2:1-4). This pattern of 9 days of prayer is the basis of the novenas we pray today!
Thus, the novena is an imitation of the Lord’s command to the Apostles when they prayed for 9 days in anticipation of the coming of the Holy Spirit.
And that’s why we pray all of our novenas for nine days, followed by one final prayer on the 10th day (which is usually the feast day).
So maybe you can guess by now that the next novena we’re praying is The Novena to the Holy Spirit for Pentecost!

Lord hear my prayer I pray that even if I go to the interview tomorrow at 12 p.m. I don’t get the job right away because I have to take care of this issue first. I also pray that Herb does not have to go to the Hospital soon or today or tomorrow or dial 911. I pray that the gastrotologist gives me something to control the medicine so I can start my job search again because I need a job soon. Lord hear my prayer I pray that I can sleep the whole night tonight and that I don’t get up and eat in the middle of the night. Please pray that you don’t let me do that. I also pray that everything goes ok at the gastrotologist and that he gives me something to control the diahrrea and that he gives me something to stop it. I also pray that everything goes all right and that I get everything resolved and that Monica calls Ivonne today.

Dear Holy Spirit by your power and grace enlighten my son with the spirit to quit completely the alcohol . This will be a lifestyle change because the friends/family he gathers with drink too so he really needs your help and guidance. Drinking is really putting a strain on his marriage. Lord hear my prayer I pray that I get better and that the gastrotologist comes up with a solution about me going to the restroom so many times. I also pray that Health Hospice calls me sometime this week for a second interview on Wednesday or Thursday and that Monica talks to Ivonne tomorrow. I also pray that I get the job either at Health Hospice or at Sciolex Corporation and that I get a second interview and that they come up with a solution at the gastrotologist and that she emails me back soon.

Holy Spirit it’ll be almost two months that I haven’t seen my son, because he’s in the mental hospital. I hope that your power will give him the courage & love to get better. Tomorrow is the feast day of the Blessed Trinity, that is the first lesion I teach my 4th graders about 3 persons in God. I love that lesson, everytime I think about it, makes me happy. Dear Holy Spirit just because Pentecost is over that doesn’t mean I’ll stop praying. My prayer is that my family will accept & love our son & brother the way God sees him. Thank you

I’ve been praying for my son who has mental illness but I forgot to tell you how grateful I am for your peace you always give to me. I’m a CCD teacher & have been since I was about 18, I’m now 68. Your have always come to me aid in helping me with the right words to say to the children I teach. I asking you which I should have started out by praying for my husband. But it’s not too late, please Holy Spirit through Jesus name, to help my husband see the good in my son and to bless him with knowledge of how a mentally ill can person can feel without their dad supporting them. Put him in the mindset that he understands how mt son feels. I’m asking this in the name of Jesus Christ, who died for our sins. The love of family is so important to me , and it must have been important to God, the Father and you, because Jesus was with his family life for 30 years. Angry. At little things. ,, As well lost her Faith. And Belief. ,, please Holy Spirit. Help her build Her faith and Wisdom. And all above. , I am a very Godly mother. Showing her good example. ,,and helping. Her babysitting my grandson. Clean and cook ,,all the time. With no complaint. Etc. She is lucky. But I wander if she appreciates it Because her short fuse ,, Her Attitude. Frustrates me Etc,, ,, I. Am. A very very patient person. Very calm and look at everything positive. Always been a Positive ..
When she is tired or sore. .. she snaps. At my grandson. And me at time. ??? He is 3. All He want is. her attention. ,, but. Because she has zero patience. She swears. At this adorable son. ,, She needs to practice. Patience and be calm. In Jesus Name.
She is lucky. That I am that type of caring mother helping her. ..we. Reconnected. Only about 3 1/2. Years. Ago She was Angry at me. When she was a teenager
And I didn’t listen to her. ,, which. I didn’t hear her. Because. Of her attitude. ,,,,?.. There Sooo much stress in that circle of time … When she was a teenager. Her little short fuse. And angry. And refuse. To repeat. ???? Or solve.
Whatever So I got accused blamed. Etc. And turned her father against me. …her father had an affair with best friend. And he left me for her after 30 yrs of marriage and marries her. And my daughter. Believed. All kind of lies and didn’t talk or saw me for 13 yrs ,
I was not invited to her Wedding. Which I was hurt. Cause I didn’t do anything wrong , and finally her husband saw the attitude she had. , And Thank you. He Reconnected us. 🙏🙏🙏
When she got pregnant Thank you Lord for answering my prayers. ,, I never questioned. Her. But the Hurt. Was so unbearable but I forgave her. , only thing she said. She was angry.all because I Didn’t listen she keeps saying ,, I was going through Death around me trying to take care of my dying parents. Stress at my business. Etc.and a daughter. Just acting up like a bull she didn’t understand. The hurt I was going through And everything crumble. Even her Dad had a secret affair. All my married life. Which I was blind , explain his short fuse. ,,
. But this Angriness broke my marriage. I find it soooo hard. She still believes her dad’s new wife.
,,I am very Thankful I am spending quality time with grandson. And now. She trust me. And start to see. All those lies. Was not true. But I. suffered all those years inside my Heart
And I am sure. Finally she realized. She made a big mistake but would never admit it and she does not know how to Forgive. Cause her Dad. Does not Forgive, we are all humans and make mistakes,, my daughter does not know. At times how to say things. And I am always trying to guess what she is trying to say. And she gets mad. So easily.
My life got all shamble All because I didn’t hear her. It’s a flaw of attitude she has. ,, Please Help me And Specially Help her Attitude. To be grateful etc,

Thank you for all of the blessings you bestow upon my family each day.
I pray to protect my family from Covid-19 and to keep them healthy.
I pray for a financial miracle, financial prosperity, and financial abundance.
I pray I am able to find a way to pay for tuition, books, and lab fees. I borrowed $13,000 to cover these expenses and my ex-husband stole all of it.
I pray I to earn all A’s in all of my classes.
I pray for healing of my daughter from migraines, kidney problems, autism, severe anxiety and depression.
I pray for healing of my son from sleep apnea, severe depression and anxiety, suicidal ideations, autism, and self-hatred.
I pray for happiness, joy, peace, and love for my family.

Holy Spirit of God, I pray with impertinence for my ailing stomach. Please bring me peace, and calm and let me strengthen my faith regarding my healing, which I know is coming. Holy Spirit – take away my sadness and fear in relation to my additional lab tests, which I’m expecting next week, and my endoscopy, which was incomplete today, as I was unable to swallow the camera for the Doctor to view my stomach and give my diagnosis.
