As soon as we finish the St. Joseph Novena, we will begin The Coronavirus Novena.
While we face the coronavirus pandemic, let us turn to the face of God in prayer and ask for His healing, His help and His protection.
We will start praying on Friday, March 20th.
We will pray for all who are affected, for all who are sick and suffering, for all those who work in the medical profession, and for those who have died as well as for their grieving family members.
We will also pray for those affected financially during this time, such as those who have lost or may lose their jobs.
During this novena we will be asking the intercession of these saints:
The Fourteen Holy Helpers, those who lived during the time of the plague
St. Anthony the Great, patron of those affected by infectious diseases
St. Edmund, patron for victims of pandemics
St. Damien of Molokai, who put himself at risk to minister to those with leprosy.
Rocco, who is venerated for his prayers for those suffering from infectious diseases
St. Joseph, patron of the dying
St. Jude and St. Rita, patrons of impossible causes
St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, who founded hospitals dedicated to caring for the sick
and Mary, Undoer of Knots.

Been w/pnuemonia for past mth & in isolation to prevent catching virus! last thing doc wants, my at a hospital, due to history of blood infections, mths of bronchitis, shingles, & through septic (all in past 3 yrs) so w/a weak immune system! Was feeling better by 3rd wk, but this week have gotten caugh back, congested, & palpitation. Extremely hi risk towards virus, if I get it , fat chance For survival at hospital! Prefer to focus & trust on Jesus the physician w/his word for my recovery God bless all who may be in any way suffering, As you described, & fear & uncertainty we all share!

Please pray for my friend’s brother , Michael and all his co-workers who work for the Department of Sanitation in NYC . One of his co-workers recently tested positive for the corona virus and the next day all his coworkers fell sick with high temperatures(102%) and are now all home with flu like symptoms. They were told to stay home and have not been tested?
We are located at a Navy base in Yokosuka, Japan and are now under a Modified Shelter in place order . Being so far away from our families , of course my friend and I worry about them as they do about us. But we trust in God. Our Parish priest is saying a daily Mass by video which we are all so thankful for.

And for all those who continue to work in spite of the risk to themselves: the pharmacists, store clerks, mail and delivery carriers, garbage collectors, and all others in essential services. May they all come through this trial unscathed.
Protection for nurse Mary Beth who can’t see her toddler children because she works on a hospital floor that handles coronavirus patients.

Dear Lord,
Please heal those who have been striken with the coronavirus. Give strength to those who have lost loved ones. Protect those who are working under immense stress without the proper equipment.

For the those in my family and among my friends who are considered more vulnerable /in the high risk group regarding the Coronavirus, especially my grandma Bonnie (who is 91 and lives alone), my niece Brianna who is a nurse, and my parents (Shelly, Fran) and sister Brittany. I also want to pray for all those who feel safe because they are not in high risk categories – that they make good decisions about social-distancing and staying home so as to protect the more vulnerable.

Please protect my new baby and please protect me with my compromised immune system and being high risk. Please Heavenly Father protect us and cover us with your love. Please bless my friend’s cousin that recently passed away due to coronavirus. May she and all of the faithful departed Rest In Peace. We ask this through Christ Our Lord. Amen!
