A little more than twelve years ago, I was praying a novena in the hopes of meeting my future husband soon — I asked the Lord to introduce me to a good Catholic man. Shortly after praying that novena, I met John-Paul, and now, we are married and coming up on our tenth wedding anniversary!
The next novena we’re praying together is the one I prayed all those years ago: the St. Anne Novena!
We will start praying on July 17th! That’s this Sunday. :)
St. Anne is the mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the grandmother of Jesus. She is a very powerful intercessor!
You may have heard that those discerning marriage often pray to St. Anne for help in finding a spouse. But, St. Anne is also known to intercede for people for almost any request, and especially for healing.
You could also ask for her intercession for your marriage, for your grandparents or grandchildren, to grow in holiness and patience. You can ask her to pray for whatever it is that’s on your heart, she will bring your intentions to Jesus!

I have been really struggling with family problems and health problems. I put my faith and trust in St Anthony and prayed a Novena for 9 days for special intentions for my husband and myself. I started the St Ann Novena and finished it yesterday, for Special Intentions for my daughter and partner. I give thanks and praise to St Anthony and St Ann for developments in a positive way. My prayers are being answered slowly, I take one day at a time, as I know God will only grant me what I need. I can see small improvements with my daughter and partner and between my husband and myself. I continue to pray and will take nothing for granted. Praise be to Jesus and Our Holy Mother.
Dear St. Anne, my parents gave me your name as my middle name and I should pray to you more often! Having watched the Pope’s pilgrimage to Lake St. Anne in Alberta, Canada on your Feast Day, I pray for blessings over his mission to bring healing. St. Anne, I also ask your intercession and prayers to our Lord Jesus Christ for my difficulty facing tough tasks that call for meeting problems head on with resolve and courage. I delay, deny and detour on important matters that truly cannot be put off without consequences such as medical appointments and car repairs. My natural sleep pattern is to sleep during the day especially in ferociously hot weather and be awake at night when I get much done at home, but not the things that must be done during business hours! Lord hear my prayer I pray that I lose weight successfully and do better at not getting up in the middle of the night like I am doing little by little. I pray that you help me lose weight. I have a daughter named Anouk, her Patron ist St.Anne. She is 14 and I have a new family with two little Boys 7 months and 3 year old with a different man who I married 2018. Sehr moved to her father completly a few months ago and she behaves so mean in words, E-Mails and actions. I know she is very hurted, and she got Diabetes type 1 one year ago even in top.
