The next novena we’re going to pray as a community is one of our favorites, it’s the St. Therese of Lisieux Novena! You can share your prayer intentions with us all below in the comments.
Pope Pius X called St. Therese “the greatest saint of modern times.” She’s well known for her “little way” spirituality of doing small, ordinary things with extraordinary love. She wrote in her autobiography, “What matters in life is not great deeds, but great love.”
We will start praying this novena on Thursday, September 22nd.
St. Therese suffered a great deal in her life. She lost her mom when she was a young girl. One of her older sisters became like a second mother to her, and St. Therese missed her when her sister entered a convent. St. Therese also suffered from chronic illness and depression. Through it all, she continued to look towards Jesus.
She’s a great example for all of us — a reminder to cling to Jesus through whatever each of us may be going through right now. Let’s look to Jesus!

My only wish is to have no wishes. Still a Family (no Patchwork please I beg you) with the man TLo I love. I hope he decide to have me as his only sexual partner, all other is to stressful for me. So I wish to her and meet him much more often. My life sucks without him but he keeps running away to other women and this pains my heart so much I lose all my power and joy of life.

Dear St. Therese, I come to you with a fervent plea to bring our son and daughter back to their Catholic Faith. They were raised in an active Catholic family, received the Sacraments up to & including Confirmation.
I have prayed for them daily thru rosary and at the Shrine of our Lady…I pray to St. Monica who never gave up on her son….but the world they live in is Godless.

My prayer;
I have been with my husband for 14yrs minus blessing the marriage. He was not willing to fund the traditional engagement and marriage. I thought he had money issues. So, I went ahead to fund them. Little did I know that he was not ready to marry me. But he was using me to help him.
I suspected him of this and confronted him, but he denied. After many years, he has confessed this is true. Now, all these years especially now, I have never been at peace with this relationship, the lies,the over reliance on me. I feel stuck on this marriage.
Lord have mercy and resolve this knot. I am a simple person, I didn’t want a lot from him, but still I got too little.
Please help me in prayer so that I have the peace.

Please pray for Joe and Sue, married for over thirty years. Both were diagnosed with different cancer within a month of each other. Sue will finish her last round of chemo and prognosis is good. Caught early. Joe has a type of colon cancer that is hard to diagnose so was picked up late. He just finished a 15 hour surgery. Please pray that the doctors removed all cancer and that his recovery is full and quick. The same for Sue
Also, please pray for Bob who has had major back surgery and is in a lot of pain. Pray the surgery will allow him to be more mobile and comfortable.

Pray for me.. I’m a cancer survivor and just recently my blood test came but abnormal and now I’m going through testing to make sure that the cancer is not back .. I’m having CT and Pet scans and more blood test and I pray that all these tests come back that I continue to be cancer free..
