The next novena we’re going to pray as a community is one of our favorites, it’s the St. Therese of Lisieux Novena!
Pope Pius X called St. Therese “the greatest saint of modern times.” She’s well known for her “little way” spirituality of doing small, ordinary things with extraordinary love. She wrote in her autobiography, “What matters in life is not great deeds, but great love.”
We will start praying this novena on Wednesday, September 22nd. You can share your prayer intentions with us all below in the comments!
St. Therese suffered a great deal in her life. She lost her mom when she was a young girl. One of her older sisters became like a second mother to her, and St. Therese missed her when her sister entered a convent. St. Therese also suffered from chronic illness and depression. Through it all, she continued to look towards Jesus.
She’s a great example for all of us — a reminder to cling to Jesus through whatever each of us may be going through right now. Let’s look to Jesus!

Prayer Intentions
1. To get employed: since 2014 i graduated i havent been able to find an employment. I wish to have a good and well paying job with good working environment which will favor me to serve God in singing and gong to church.
2. I wish to have financial breakthrough: i have alot of Debts which are not giving me peace of mind.
3. I wish to finish my studies: I started my masters which i have not finished due to lack of finances.
4. Breaking of any curses that might be on my life way: I have a problem when i get any small money the money gets finished without me knowing how i used it.

THAT MY HUSBAND’S PAIN CAN BE EASED
I’ve been praying for decades now for the severe mental and emotional illness in my family to finally be healed, for the extreme suffering to end. I’ve been praying for decades now for God to bring an honest, faithful, genuine man of integrity my way, and to have a blessed union which will lead to marriage. My mother and my grown child still have not been healed and their emotional suffering is still causing severe trauma for everyone. And I still was only meeting and falling in love with men who then cheated and lied. I’ve recently met someone, and so far, we make each other very happy, we laugh together every single day. But sometimes I get afraid, sometimes I fear that I have yet again crossed paths with a man who hasn’t yet healed from his own wounds of the past, sometimes I fear that he too will be dishonest and unfaithful or perhaps that he already is. They say God doesn’t give us anything we can’t handle, but I can’t handle all of this suffering anymore. I’m such a kind person, I forgive everyone with much ease, I’m kind to everyone, even those who have done terrible things to me. My entire life has been filled with extremely hard work and years of deep suffering. I can’t take it anymore. Please, please help my family. Please, please help and protect the relationship I am currently in. Please let me soon be a wife in a very blessed, healthy, and faithful marriage. Please let my dreams of becoming a successful writer soon come true. What must I do, how should I pray for some relief, some joy, some peace to finally come into my life? Saint Therese please help me, please, please help me.
Restore my health so I can spend my final years enjoying my wonderful family.

I have been amazed to see some profound healing of the relationship which was my novena intention. I am so grateful to our good God, St. Therese & this wonderful website.
