St. Michael the Archangel is known for interceding for protection from evil and for healing.
We will pray this novena so that we may live more in accordance with Christ’s teachings, that we will be protected from the snares of the devil, that we will live for the glory of God, and that we may have the strength to defeat the disordered desires of this world.

Dear St. Michael, I pray that you will defend me in my battle against the temptation of a vice that I have…. anger. I tend to have a short fuse when it comes to my husband of 55 years. I do love him and he is a good man, always trying to please me and has always been a hard worker. We argue at times and I just lose my temper and yell at him. I also do not have much patience with him at other times. Thank you for hearing my prayer request.
For the conversion of souls especially my son David. For all those away from the church, may they return. For those battling addictions especially alcohol which both my husband and son battle. Asking for prayers for my son Joe and his wife Jenny, that if it’s in God’s plan for them to have a family, that they’d be able to conceive, have a normal pregnancy and deliver a healthy baby. They had a miscarriage in August, so hoping God hopes to start their family once again.
I’m having an ultrasound tomorrow to do screening for abdominal aortic aneurysm, that the results would be normal. Have a strong family history for aneurysms.

Please pray for my son who recently revealed to me and his sister that 40 years ago he was sexually molested on several occasions by our then pastor. It began at age 9 in our Church while our family was busy cleaning the church! This priest molested about 9 kids in our parish. My son was in denial for so very long. He reported it last year to the Diocese and an investigation ensued and the Diocese admitted it was true. Please pray for his mental and spiritual healing. Also pray for my daughter who had colon/rectal surgery 3 yrs ago because of colitis and the one site is still not completely healed causing her much pain. I personally need prayers too since my husband died a few months ago, my back, legs, feet hurt constantly from taking care of him.
