Saint Jude was one of Jesus’ twelve original apostles. He is also known by the name Thaddeus, which means sweetness and gentleness of character.
Saint Jude followed Jesus faithfully until His crucifixion, and then later worked on evangelization.
Very little is known about his life, but we do know that he died as a martyr — some say around 65AD, giving his life to Jesus Christ.
He is now one of the most invoked saints for intercession in desperate situations because his New Testament letter stressed the importance of a faithful person persevering in the environment of harsh circumstances.

My mother, cousin and I began the St. Jude novena together. Mom and I had a long list but there was an immediate need. However it required a family member’s change of heart. So to start, we emphasized that intention and my cousin was saying the novena with that particular intention in mind. We had been praying for that intention for quite awhile and felt very discouraged. By day two of the novena, that particular intention was answered. Now there is need for more help. Pray for my Grandson to be healed of autism
My prayers are for my youngest daughter to forgive me and help to heal our relationship. Through a miscommunication and misunderstanding that was the catalyst in a total breakdown of our relationship. Many past hurts came to the surface and things I wasn’t even aware of that had hurt her all came back. She hasn’t spoken to me but a few words in almost 2 years. I never imagined the pain of such a broken heart. As bad as I feel I need to see and know she must be hurting more. I ask St Judes help in healing both of us.

Give the surgeon the talent and knowledge to successfully do the surgery, as I thank god for blessing the physician with the gift of helping others. Pray for my husband to heal from his knee replacement, he still is in pain going into his 4th month after surgery. My husband, my best friend of 45 years is battling ALS Lou Gherigs disease. As each day brings a new dilemma, we are trying to stay positive. As you must know, this disease is terminal and has no known cure. It is so hard to see my husband getting more depressed, more immobile, severe anxiety attacks, blood clots in leg, can’t walk but a yard at a time, short of breath, losing weight, insomnia, hopeless feelings of not being able to do the things you and i take for granted each day. I am asking for prayers please. His name is Keith. He is and has always been a kind and compassionate man. God bless my husband. God bless us all. Thank you. And we pray for everyone on the planet.
