I don’t know if prayers will be answered or not. I’ve been praying that my SIL stay off of drugs and alcohol (this was my 3rd novena) and a couple of weeks ago he ‘fell off the wagon’ in a heartbreaking way. Since that day, he seems to be doing ok, but when left alone he becomes very depressed. Thank you all for helping me pray and please don’t stop – we all need each other!
We prayed for over a year, as we moved from one state to another not to have more than one mortgage payment. When all hope seemed lost, at the end of this novena we sold our house we previously lived in. Thankful.

Thank you very much. On the 31st l received an invitation for a job interview and on the 13th l attended the interview. It was promising and l hope to hear from them soon. I keep praying for a favourable response.
I had been talking to my over 33yr old friend for over five years about being baptized. Sometime during or immediately after the novena, he mentioned casually that he had started cathecism classes to be baptized next Easter. Thank you God for listening to st. Anne and calling my friend.
I have been praying for 4 years for my daughter to return to the Church and 3 weeks ago she came with us to Mass and hugged me during Mass.
We went out to brunch afterwards and asked me to buy her a chain to put her religious medals on it to wear!
I’m very hopeful that she stays on this path and that St. Monica, Our Lord, and Our Virgin Mary will protect her from the evil and secularism that surrounds us today

My son who has stayed away from the Church went to mass only ONCE after he performed the Doors of Mercy plenary indulgence and then did not attend mass again.
But 4 days ago, he sent me a text message to say that he would like to attend mass with me the next time I went to Sunday Mass, which will be this weekend.
Dear St Monica, please intercede that my son will not stray again, but remain close and faithful to Our Lord.
Prayers are being ansered. My husband has been communicating and coming by our home more often. We have lots to work on our marriage. I continue my prayers.
I prayed that my sister would develop a closer relationship with God and this week she advised that she and her husband will be going to church starting this weekend. Praise God! Thank you St. Monica
I was so worried about a biopsy result for my husband and prayed for good health. The biopsy was negative. I also prayed for my children to navigate the social aspects of school with success and they are thriving

Thank you for the prayers. I have been praying for our son to return to the church. Without any prompting from us, they started going to Mass, enrolled our grandson in PSR(public school religion classes and he and his wife are now attending RCIA. Praise the Lord! Thank you St. Monica.

On the other hand, my husband called me after a year. Hearing his voice was made me happy.???? I still love him..hope everything will be ok to both of us.

Through out the novena I prayed to be cured of my cancer. I now know that the chemo worked on shrinking the tumor and now I am ready for radiation and then hopefully surgery. Through God’s infinite mercy he saw fit to provide me good news about the cancer and that I am ready for the next step to a cure. God is great and all things are possible for those that submit to his will.
Thank you for answered prayers for renewed health! I feel better each day and I was losing faith when I was on medication. The medication is leaving my body and I feeling stronger each day! Praise be to God and thank you for the Novena!
This is in answer to my prayers during both novenas:
I have been praying for my sister-in-law and her husband that whatever differences they have held for a very long relationship, may turn into a matrimony we ourselves doubt might be possible. Just before the Novina for Marriage Family ended, they begun getting along much better and they chat and laugh together. I need to continue praying this new set of events between them be permanent. God is good!!
God has Answered my prayers.I ‘m bless with the fruit of the womb. It was one of my major intention during the novena.
On the 8th day of this novena, I received a call for a part time job. I am truly thankful.
Glory be to God! This novena brought me a job! I got a new job within 1wk of interviews. I am so grateful to God.
It also drew me closer to a partner, we are not married yet but I believe that is on the way. By God’s grace I will come back with a testimony on this.

Thanks to those who shared their answered prayers! I’m thankful for the little miracle that has blessed my life, such as the birth of my first grandchild! I prayed for her to be healthy, and although being born Under 5 lbs, she is doing well! I will continue to pray for her as she struggles with reflux after feeding. The novenas bring a great peace and comfort in difficult times, so I will continue to pray and hope! God is good!

While praying the novena to St Monica, my special intentions including many things, but specifically to provide me with the extra finances I needed to be able to pay the rent where 2 of my 3 sons live at college. Two hours after finishing the 9th day, my boss called me in his office and gave the opportunity to work overtime weakly for the amount I needed to cover my boys rent! I even shared that with him!

My heart was first diagnosed as heart disease , when I prayed to ur novenas plus other Christian prayers , the surgeon said , u have a dispersed artery but u were born that way and ur heart has not plaque no build up of calcium no blockages it’s beautiful! Though my prayers for my son Satish have not been answered, my son got a chance to go abroad for summer school. My daughter in law who was falling sick very often is much better now. Our family has been praying I have been praying the novena and asking God to Grant my son Paul custody of his son. And he has answered our prayer. I prayed for healing of a severe instance of allergies that threatened the loss of a tooth. Within days during the novena to St. Monica, I was practically 100% recovered. Surgery, time off work for recovery, diet restrictions, pain, cost of a replacement tooth, and the difficulties of my new job would have an extremely difficult burden. Thanks to Our Father for healing me. And thanks to St. Monica and all the saints and saints-to-be for praying for me.
why don’t I receive all of the daily novenas? I receive some but most of the time I miss receiving 1 or 2 per novena. Please let me know. Thank You

Thank you for all the prayers! I lifted up your intentions in my daily praying as well. My prayers were answered! I prayed my boyfriend would convert to Catholicism. During this novena we had a very honest conversation about his religious beliefs and he is planning to begin RCIA! I also prayed that God would show us His will for our relationship and I felt a deep sense of peace in marrying him and a knowledge that it’s right. I hope your prayers were answered as well.
My 52 yr old brother, Steve, is mentally ill, addicted to crystal meth, living in a half-way house. My parents have loved him unconditionally for years and have tried to get him help. My mother’s faith has been shaken by her unanswered prayers. Steve was hospitalized and evaluated for brain damage last week. He has dementia and cannot return to his previous home. The doctors recommend he be placed in a nursing home on lock down since he is a flight risk. My brother will move to a nursing home this week, locked away from access to drugs; no longer able to destroy his health, mind and spirit. In all of its ugliness, this, still, is a blessing.
I am a single mum of two boys and trusting God for a God Fearing, Patient and Loving lifetime partner who will allow me serve the lord in marriage. I thank God for all my answered prayer for Iam a true testimony that God answers. I am still trusting God for financial break through and a new well paying Job to sustain my family. thank you St. Monica for interceeding on my behalf for my family. I have also started getting more visions that are helping me pray with a purpose.. I thank God for coming into my life in new ways and forgiving all my sins as I continue to build my relationship with him.
We had been praying for the longest time for my dad to get a job and around the first day of the novena he got an interview and they sounded interested. A couple weeks later the people that he interviewed contacted him and told him he got the job!!!!!! THANK YOU sooooo much St. Monica!!!!

Thank you St. Monica and Mother Mary for your intercession . I have been praying for years that he return to the Church.
I have an acquaintance that supports views opposing the Catholic faith. He and I had not spoken in over 3 years, and I had not “bothered” to pray for him. This novena reminded me that I should! I thought of how incredible it would be to see him among the faithful in heaven– even though I would likely never speak to him again, which I was able to prayerfully accept.
On Day 2 of the Novena, he reached out to me through a message to see how I was doing. Although it was a short and simple conversation, I was shocked that it was even happening and knew that it was absolutely no coincidence at all. I will continue to pray for his conversion!
I have participated in quite a few novenas through this great ministry, and have not received a token of affirmation like this until now. I’d like to encourage everyone to keep praying, even if you feel unheard. God is intently listening to everything you have to say, and He loves you abundantly.

I prayed for my foot to be healed and it was. I had been suffering from an unknown cold spot on my foot- and prayed for my feet to return to normal, and St. Monica helped me.
I also had a dream/vision of my Dad who passed on and a picture of Jesus’ portrait came to me. It was amazing. I woke up sobbing, and extremely thankful.

I have received an answer to prayer. I was born on the Feast of St Monica. I asked in this time of prayer for the temptation to online shop would.be taken away.
It wasn’t.
The answer to prayer is the realization that I can use the temptation to buy and fill the void, with the gift of riding out the temptation for the purpose of those for whom I pray.
These desires to have always more are God-given. Now, with St Monica, I can use these to silently assist others by a small sacrifice. St Monica, pray for us!
A couple of weeks ago someone drowned and passed away in front of a group of friends and I. The organizer of the group for that vacation had been having health issues and was going to need surgery after that trip. I had been praying for healing, understanding, wisdom, and hope for each of us who experienced this trauma. Today, the organizer of the group was told by her physician that all results were normal and that she did not need a surgery. God is close to us during this time and he is a healer! She now feels his love closer than ever!
We are still seeking wisdom in making the correct business decisions to carry forward and support our employees and their families. We are still struggling financially. Although, I have had additional emotional strength and although each day the negative thoughts are there, I am able to overcome by putting my children, wife and employees in the forefront.
I pray that my dad Kevin and I are to resolve and that the darkness that has been put upon us is to life. That my health is to be well.

I pray for continued health for my family. I pray for my mom, that her leg and back may be healed. I pray for my sister who is struggling and is away from her family and faith. I pray for my daughter, may she excel in life.
We have been praying for our son (who for 5+ years has fallen away from the faith) for him to meet a Christian woman – like Saint Monica our parental efforts have fallen on deaf ears. Amazingly, he has met a faithful Catholic woman and they are now dating. Bless the Lord!
I prayed for a job, and 3 places I’d applied to months ago called me back, going for interviews this week. I pray I get at least one of them, with good remuneration
God knows my prayers and will answer them. He is the light of my day and the most powerful.
I am praying that My husbands new job goes well. That he is very dedicated to learning new things and working toward the goals we so desire.
Also I pray that he is able to keep the job because he desperately needs insurance to attend to his many health issues.

My son who has lung cancer, very aggressive was told he had a blood clot in his leg and sent home to wait for the doctor’s call. After 2 days of not hearing anything it was time for his treatment appointment at which time the doctor told him the CT scan was misread. I, along with friends believe our Lord answered a prayer for a sign to let us know he was with Tim.

I have been praying for my son who just started college at only 17. Got a text from him today that he spent 4 hours at the Newman center today – Mass and he has joined as a cantor and will sing and play piano with a small group and joined the Latin Mass Club! Thanks be to God! Thanks St. Monica!!!

Thanksgiving for answered prayers. Don’t remember all of them because I posted about 5 or 6, but I know God is working. God is still giving me the grace to pray and hope and be patient, though it is not easy always. God is good. My son made it home safely last night, after drinking too much. He gave me gifts of love and patience while my son, his “girlfriend” and her mother spent the last two nights at our house due to pest problems at hers. He have me patience to deal with my fear of my husband’s anger flareups. I believe he didn’t have a flareup with his son this evening as I prayed the rosary and chaplet of Divine Mercy while he went to help his son pull his truck out of mud due to the hurricane flooding. Please take the taste of alcohol out of his mouth as well as two of my other sons, and that they get the job you want them to have quickly as they have bills to pay on the first of September. I am trying to push out fear in me about all this in the last two statements. Fear of not getting a job, of anger management and fear of despair in them. Father God, in the Holy Name of Jesus, I come against all the negative in them, please protect and heal them and protect them from all harm, all evil and all temptation. Thank you Jesus. Thank you St. Monica for your intercession, and all the holy angels and other Saints. All for the honor and glory of God. Oh yes, that we only do the Will of God. Amen.

YES, PRAISE GOD!! MY DAUGHTER IN LAW HAD A TUMOR GROWING INTO HER SPINE (AB 3″ ON ONE SIDE; WENT INTO THE SPINE AND BUBBLED OUT THE OTHER SIDE). SHE IS THE MOTHER OF A 3 YEAR OLD AND 3 MONTH OLD. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A 7 TO 8 HOUR SURGERY ON TUESDAY OF THIS NOVENA. THE SURGERY ONLY LASTED 4 HOURS AND THE DOCTOR REPAIRED EVERYTHING; SO SHE DID NOT HAVE TO GO TO INTENSIVE CARE. PRAISE GOD! SHE IS HOME AND WALKING AROUND SLOWLY BUT ON THE ROAD TO RECOVERY!!!! ONLY WITH GOD’S GUIDING HAND COULD THIS HAVE HAPPENED. PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR THIS AWESOME WIFE AND MOTHER!!
My sister entered detox and has agreed to get help for her alcoholism. God please continue to bless her with your presence and guide her towards your love and comfort.

I’ve been married to my husband for 9 years and have always had the agreement that I will never push my faith on him. Every Sunday I take our daughters to Mass. When the St. Monica novena was announced this year, I prayed that through her intercession my husband would be inspired by God. He went to a parent meeting at school this past Tuesday and came home asking me if non-Catholics can attend Mass. I’m happy to say he is joining us today for Mass. These novenas are truly a blessing, helping many people to strengthen their Faith! Thank you St. Monica.
