The next novena we’re going to pray as a community is one of our favorites, it’s the St. Therese of Lisieux Novena!
Pope Pius X called St. Therese “the greatest saint of modern times.” She’s well known for her “little way” spirituality of doing small, ordinary things with extraordinary love. She wrote in her autobiography, “What matters in life is not great deeds, but great love.”
We will start praying this novena on Sunday, September 22nd.

Prayers for my dear friend who has liver cancer, for healing. For good health for all my loved ones and myself.
I am praying that my sinuses will heal and stop this horrendous pain in my head. That the antibiotics the doctors gave me will work so that I can sleep and heal and stop being depressed. That I can find friends somewhere in this world. That my headaches, joint pains, sinuses, stomach pains and reflux heal and clear up. i pray that my eldest son’s platelet levels rise to normal again as he has two little children who need their dad. I also pray that my daughter rejects the lesbian lifestyle she is considering and finds a wonderful Catholic devoted man to marry and have children with and stops referring to herself as ‘them’, which is ridiculous. I also pray my second son talks to us again and stops rejecting myself and his father. He refuses to see us, thinks we have snubbed his girlfriend/wife, which we would never do. We have asked for forgiveness time and again, apologized, told him we love him, told her we love her, to no avail. He completely ignores us and he was the light of our lives. I know my health is directly impacted by the above. I pray also my husband doesn’t yell at me anymore because I’m tired of it and I do love him. I pray God sends his holy spirit to all our five boys and daughter that they come back to Christ and his church. Amen, the end. Thanks for any prayers said. Much appreciated.

Dear Jesus/Mary/All Saints: Please hear my prayers: For J & S that they will be healthy/faithful, happy/successful, financially stable; praying for them to get their wedding blessed. For our middle son S & S that they will be happy/faithful, healthy/successful, & financially stable-thank you for blessing him w/S. Thank you for blessing us with granddaughter-please protect her from all evil. I pray for good health and Baptism for her, and for marriage for S & S. For our daughter, son in-law, and 3 grandsons-for good health, happy/successful in their jobs, financially stable, please protect them from all evil. I pray for financial aid for this family. For my marriage that it will grow in faith and love. That we may communicate/pray more together daily. For good health, and financially stable. We all want to want you more Jesus in our daily lives. + pray that my brother T will accept his made a mistake, stop being arrogant about reconciling and seek the help he needs
+ I pay for our kids in this new “woke” world/generation where there is a lot of confusion and derailment of the truth of the life and world you created. I pray oh Lord to please intervene and fix these things and bring back some normalcy to the world. I pray oh Lord to remove the voices that are sent by the devil to confuse and replace and make louder and more understandable, the voices from God
+ I pray for more faithful and religious people to come out and give people hope and not skepticism or doubt
I am praying for courage, better trust in God, positive and sound mind. I also pray for long life in great health of mind and body for me and all my loved us, keeping us free from all diseases, debilitating illnesses and sudden/unprepared death. I pray for that job I am praying and searching for. I pray to pay my professional exams I plan to take this December, I pray to have the courage to start my business(es), I also pray for favour in my plans for next year’s family relocation, that it will happen according to God’s will. Please intercede my prayers to the Lord to grant my prayers and intentions according to His will. I ask all these through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

My thyroid has cancer and needs to be removed, as do my lymph node’s on the left side of my neck. Jesus, take all the cancer from my body and strengthen me and my body.
Guide the surgeons hand to protect my vocal cords and other organs. Lay a hand on my children’s shoulder and provide them with peace and certainty for my wellbeing.
Lord, help my wife heal her wounds and allow my marriage to flourish and continue to grow.

I pray to St Therese for the successful operation on my brother in law Nero Cruickshank. For my grandson Justin to get a steady job, for my daughter to excel at her current job and for her continued success and for my grandson Jacob to settle down at school and do well in his studies. I pray for protection over them, Amen 🙏

St Therese of Lisieux be a good guidance for my children, Oliver and Wendy, guide them in their work, in their projects and decisions. Protect them in their daily life. May my son Oliver who is so lonely, will one day meet a good wife to build a family and lead a happy life.

Thank you for the bouquet of roses and their fragrance you sent, even when I hadn’t completed the novena. Let my fervour for mass, the sacraments and God increase a million fold. I am restarting for the following intentions:
1. Quickened invite for the last stage and a successful visa interview.
2. A GH job in a global organisation at a global HQ – Geneva. Coming with all the perks on my prayer list and more options than I could possibly imagine.
3. Fast completion of my PhD program.
4. Speed and favour before God and men.
5. Miracle of an excellent home purchase.
Praying for protection over my mind and family and our relationships. Blessings for my mom and my son, and please fix husband. Thank you Jesus!

I am praying for another job as my current one comes to an end. I pray particularly for stability in the workplace, a supportive boss and supportive work environment and an even better salary.
I also ask that you pray for me to draw closer to God as I have been very distant and sinful.
Lord, through your servant St Therese of the child Jesus, please grant me the petitions below:
1) That I may get a job in the next 2-3 months so I may continue to provide for my family during this very critical time in our lives
2) That I may be healed of my illness
3) For our marriage that we may satisfy spiritually, physically and emotionally each other and have no need to seek satisfaction outside our marriage
4) For our brothers G & J, they may accept their mistakes and learn from them and also get jobs or a source of income to support their families
5) Pray that B may get into a relationship and get married
6) Our financial situation improves and supports us to meet our obligations and help those that rely on us
7) good health in our families
8) Eliminate all conflict in our families and the entire world so we may all live in peace.

Pray for reconciliation between me and my wife. Pray for my wife to have a heart of peace and not hatred and to be humble and not proud and arrogance and to stop using silence to hinder communication and reconciliation.
