Ten years ago, I asked John-Paul to pray the Immaculate Conception Novena with me.
He actually turned me down, because he said he always had trouble finishing a novena. He would always forget.
After he thought a little bit more about it, he knew that wasn’t a good enough reason not to join me in prayer. :)

I also pray that I get a job in the beginning of January after the 6th of January. Just learned that a very special member of my family is in the hospital with Covid 19. He is in his mid 60s and has Down’s Syndrome. His parents were told he wouldn’t survive childhood and would have the mental capacity of a 2 yr old. He proved the “experts” wrong. He worked most of his life until recently. Lives in a group home. He won’t understand being in the hospital and being away from his family and friends. May our Lady intercede for him and surround him with her love.
And also pray for my 98 yr old father in rehab after a terrible fall.
