Ten years ago, I asked John-Paul to pray the Immaculate Conception Novena with me.
He actually turned me down, because he said he always had trouble finishing a novena. He would always forget.
After he thought a little bit more about it, he knew that wasn’t a good enough reason not to join me in prayer. :)

My dear and most loving Blessed Mother,
It seems that, we your children, are all suffering in some way big or small! For most it has become a real challenge. I, personally, dont know if I’m following the Will of God or my will.
I ask and i humbly request that you please be with me on my earthly journey. I am aware that there are priorities that need to be done but I often have difficulty sorting through and working them out.
I have obligations to myself, maybe to my siblings although they have grown children and grandchildren to help them out. It seems everyone is to busy!
I have just encountered 2 major moves from my townhome of 12 years. I moved out 10/16/20 and needed to move into an interim small cottage and storage unit until my apartment was available on 11/10/20. I had challenges before and during the move including an illness of a highly contagious c-diff infection. Plus my loyal 8 year old Westie companion started to have seizures. She’s doing ok now on meds.

My husband suffered a major stroke 16 months ago, and has been in a nursing home ever since the stroke. He can’t walk or use his left side at all. I can’t bring him home because he is bed ridden and requires so much physical care, it is beyond my capabilities. I am 69 and he is 79. He’s been in hospice since April of 2020. He has slowly declined during this time, and I have been able to visit him daily. He’s suffering and my whole family is suffering. Oh Lord, we pray for his restoration of health so he can come home, or for you to take him to his eternal home in heaven soon and peacefully. Oh Lord this is so hard to watch happening. My heart is so broken from all of this. Please pray for him. His name is Chuck.
