The next novena we’re praying is a first for us — it’s the Novena to Saints Peter and Paul!
St. Irenaeus called them the two most glorious Apostles.
Church tradition has always celebrated St. Peter and St. Paul on the same day — their feast day is June 29th.
St. Augustine of Hippo said, “Both apostles share the same feast day, for these two were one; and even though they suffered on different days, they were as one. Peter went first, and Paul followed. And so we celebrate this day made holy for us by the apostles’ blood. Let us embrace what they believed, their life, their labors, their sufferings, their preaching, and their confession of faith.”
We’ll begin their novena on Sunday, June 20th! And you can share your prayer intentions below!
St. Peter is the patron of fishermen, net makers, and ship builders, while St. Paul is the patron of authors, the press, publishers, and writers.
During this novena, we’ll pray for us all to grow in faith and in our trust in the Lord.
We’ll pray that we will become better evangelists, sharing Christ with others.
We’ll pray for our priests, for those discerning religious life, and for those in parish and ministry work.
We’ll pray for our families and communities — for our faith to be a priority and the foundation in our lives.

I pray for resources to pay my property taxes. The tax appraiser has already completed a certificate sale, I don’t want to lose my home.

I’m asking for prayers for my friend’s niece who was in a car accident, her boyfriend died in the accident, but she survived and she is in a bad shape. She already had a couple surgeries done. She had another surgery where the doctors had to cut into the incision on her head and put the rest of of her skull back into her head. She is so young, and it’s so hard on the family. St. Peter and St. Paul – my brother Rick’s cancer is back (non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma). He’s starting his next round of high-dose chemotherapy this Thursday, and it will be repeated for 3 weeks. Then in July he will have an autologous bone marrow transplant (using his own healthy blood stem cells). It is a dangerous procedure and then a long recovery (it could be a year or longer, for cell recovery and growth). He will be at great risk for infection.
St. Peter and St. Paul – please pray for healing for Rick. He is concerned, but ready to be well again if it’s God’s will.

I pray for my daughter Anya, that she be able to carry her first child to full term and that she be able to deliver a healthy child safely. She and her husband has been married for 7 years and this is her first pregnancy. They have been waiting for this baby. Because she is 35 years old, they consider this a high risk pregnancy. Also, I am praying hard that when she delivers her baby, my husband and I will be able to travel to Australia to see her and our grandchild. This too is our first grand child. I pray all these in Jesus name, through the intercession of Mary.
For Jesus to restore our broken relationships with famiky,especially all the hurt my son especially(&daughter)& myself have endured with ungodly cruel&jealous family members:that Jesus to help us 3 move away from these toxic relationships and stop being tortured by these family members evil heart’s&tongues! Bring us 3 new godly kind loving friends ,so restore what the locust(s) has eaten! Conversion for these evil minded ones,do whatever it takes Jesus to convict these family members(all) to see the speck in their own eyes and stop their ugliness towards me&my adult kids! Please intercede on our behalf as this has been going for a very long time and causing our hearts to hurt& have anxiety! JESUS my 2 kids& I need &prayer for justice!!!! Hallelujah!
