At some point in our lives, each of us will be affected by cancer or another terminal disease.
Whether it affects us directly or indirectly, it can cause great suffering in our lives.
So many of the prayer requests we receive are for those suffering with cancer.
So the next novena we will pray is the St. Peregrine Novena for Cancer Patients starting on Sunday, January 12th — that’s just a few days away.
St. Peregrine is the patron saint of cancer patients. He had a cancerous ulcer on his leg which was miraculously cured when it was thought to be beyond saving.
So we will pray this novena for all cancer patients, all those suffering from life-threatening illnesses, for their families & friends, as well as for physicians and scientists working to discover a cure and to bring relief.
We hope you will join us in praying this novena, and that you will share it with all of your friends & family.

St. Peregrine’s feast day is May 1st. But as with every novena, you can pray it any time of the year — and we will start this one on January 12th. That’s just a few days away, so be sure to get the word out!

Please pray for Susan, a family friend , who was diagnosed with Breast Cancer a few years ago. She was diagnosed last summer with Metastatic Breast Cancer. This past week they have biopsies her stomach, as she is now having new difficulties. She is having an endoscopy tomorrow. She is in her early 50s and lost her mother to the same disease. This family had faced so much , as her brother suffered from severe cerebral palsy. Thank you so much

Praying for a dear friend who was recently diagnosed with HIV positive. He was a fine man, but got infected accidently during a community town cleaning services when he accidently touched a needle belived to be used by drug addicts. I pray that the Lord will walk with him.

St. Peregrin, I pray for all who suffer any terminal illness I pray for my sister, my husband our children our health. I pray for all the victims of the natural disaster as well for all who suffer from mental illness, addiction who are lost and lonely. Pray for me for heartburn, acid reflux which has my stomach and digestive track sour all the time, my throat sore, and my teeth on edge. This is so uncomfortable for me Lord for nearly two years. Dear St Peregrin, we found you when my son was diagnosed with cancer, the same day he and his wife learned they were having their first child eight years ago. Cancer revisited two years later. Since then he has been cancer free – please keep him safe.
For my grandfather Jack. He is 91 + years and was just diagnosed with neoendocrine cancer in his lungs and liver. He has lived a long good wonderful and happy life. He is ready to go home to be with his Lord. Prayers for him as he leaves us and for us as we let him go. Prayers for no pain and a peaceful death.

Bring peace, comfort and healing to those who are afflicted with all kinds of illnesses that have them on home health care or hospice. Bless those too who are their caregivers – especially the family members who are by their sides day in & day out every step of the way. Heal these caregivers especially after their loved one has gone to be with the Lord, for they will tend to suffer & grieve for all the would haves, could haves, and should haves. Speak to them in the recesses of their minds and calm all the endless musings with the healing balm of your comforting words.

She believes she is sick with one thing or another all the time. She even claimed to have had Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma which was healed by some ancient Chinese medicine in 4 months. Dear sisters and brothers I thank you all for your prayers. The Almighty and Great Healer continues to take care of us.I still do the best I can to take care of myself although my problematic left eye which suffered a retinal detachment in October 2004 and underwent a series of operations, has worsened. However, I continue to hope for a divine miracle from our savior. Its vision has deteriorated. I am however grateful to our Savior that my right eye remains intact and good.
My twin sister who was operated in August 2016 following a diagnosis of cancer at a point where the esophagus joins the stomach, became better after the chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment. However, she is now faced with tremendous memory loss and symptoms of confusion. This has greatly affected her life. She gets disorientated and at times seems not to know her children. She, too, needs a divine miracle. May our Savior remain in our midst. Amen
