The next novena we will pray is to a powerful patron. Saint John Paul II called this saint the Guardian of the Redeemer.
The next novena is the Novena to Saint Joseph, Husband of Mary! We will start praying together on March 10th and you can share your prayer intentions below.
The feast of St. Joseph is only one of a few that we celebrate throughout Lent, and it will be particularly special to pray this novena together this year as Pope Francis declared this year the Year of St. Joseph. You can read about that here.

St. Joseph: Protector and Father
St. Joseph humbly accepted his role as guardian, husband and father in the Holy Family. Therefore, St. Joseph’s intercession has been sought for centuries.
St. Joseph was clearly very close to our Lord and so we come to him with this novena with a sense of humility because of his great humility.

Praying for my son to get a work term May 2021. He needs to have 2 work terms before he graduates from engineering technology program in June 2022.
I pray for St. Joseph’s intercession at this time of cautious optimism about the possibility of getting a Covid 19 vaccine sooner rather than later, that I will no longer grow despondent and filled with sorrow about the tragedy of this past year of pandemic deaths, loss of jobs and stability and much suffering. It is a wonderful explanation and encouragement to know that Joseph never questioned his role. He suffered but was brave in the face of adversity and uncertain circumstances and always continued to do God’s Will. I am glad this is the Year of St. Joseph, as he is truly a leader for us. May we all strive to learn from him and be more like him, and this Novena is a wonderful reminder and guide as to how to keep St. Joseph in our lives.
