At some point in our lives, each of us will be affected by cancer or another terminal disease.
Whether it affects us directly or indirectly, it can cause great suffering in our lives.
So many of the prayer requests we receive are for those suffering with cancer.
So the next novena we will pray is the St. Peregrine Novena for Cancer Patients starting on Wednesday, January 13th.

St. Peregrine is the patron saint of cancer patients. He had a cancerous ulcer on his leg which was miraculously cured when it was thought to be beyond saving.
So we will pray this novena for all cancer patients, all those suffering from life-threatening and chronic illnesses, for their families & friends, as well as for physicians and scientists working to discover a cure and to bring relief.

Just before beginning this novena, I learned my cancer drug was approved by my new health care provider.
And on the last day, nine days away, I undergo a CTscan to see how well the drug has been working the past three months.
I know St. Peregrine and Jesus are with me today as I begin this novena.

I ask for prayers regarding my health. For quite sometime I’ve encountered discomfort in my upper mid-back which the pain wraps around to my diaphram and to the front causing me to feel palpitations. I sometimes have difficulty sleeping on that side of my body and I’m a side sleeper.
Due to Heatlh Insurance problems I wasn’t able to get the proper medical X-rays and CT Scans. Now in the New Year I have a new Health Insurance and I’m hoping to be able to schedule for the mentioned exams. I pray that God and Mother Mary have me covered in their precious blood and are healing me and freeing me from any diseases.
