The next novena we’re going to pray as a community is one of our favorites, it’s the St. Therese of Lisieux Novena!
Pope Pius X called St. Therese “the greatest saint of modern times.” She’s well known for her “little way” spirituality of doing small, ordinary things that you do every day with extraordinary love. She wrote in her autobiography, “What matters in life is not great deeds, but great love.”
We will start praying this novena next Tuesday, September 22nd.
St. Therese suffered a great deal in her life. She lost her mom when she was a young girl. One of her older sisters became like a second mother to her, and St. Therese “lost” her when her sister entered a convent. St. Therese also suffered from chronic illness and depression. Through it all, she continued to look towards Jesus.
She’s a great example for all of us — a reminder to cling to Jesus through whatever each of us may be going through right now. Let’s look to Jesus!

Lord hear my prayer I pray that Dr. Santana comes up with a solution from my going to the bathroom so much and my anxiety. I pray he gives me something so long as it does not make me sleepy during the day. I pray that I don’t get hired in the spot tomorrow at the 9 a.m. interview but maybe next week or so because I can’t start hiring on the spot now but next week I can start. Dear Blessed mother thank you for sending your saints to hear our prayers and lay them at the feet of your son Jesus. We are honored and blessed because of you and your guidance to be more like our loving father; loving and forgiving and to love one another as Jesus has loved us. I humbly pray St. Therese that we are able to buy our home we are currently living in. I pray this novena along with other petitions that our prayers are answered.
St. Therese pray that my w.c. at work with the lawyer and doctors will have a positive outcome for me at work, that there will be no report that will have a negative effect on my life.
St. Therese I pray for your intercession for the next president of the United States, that this president will unite and guide this country with respect, honesty and loyalty to the people and to favor the laws to save unborn babies.
St. Therese intercede for my son Anthon, to become responsible adult in his personal life to dedicate time for his personal appearance and to clean, organize his room without complaining.

Please pray for the arthritis in my hips to be healed. I have suffered with back pain and debilitation for 17 years. I would love to be miraculously healed, but if that is not God’s will, then I would like the graces needed to endure well the hip replacement required.
Please pray for my husband who is faithful, loving and good to endure all of the many burdens placed on him and that he can give them to the Lord, knowing how much He loves him.
Also, please pray for a deep spiritual need for my son.
For my Mom to be relieved of her chronic hip pain permanently.
