I was praying for a job for my son. On the 9th day of this novena, Father announced at mass that our parish school was in need of another teacher. Today, my son interviewed for the position and was offered the job on the spot! Thank you Saint Monica!
This Novena started on my son’s birthday. I asked St Monica to bring him back to the faith.
I still need to keep praying but her work is clearly in hand. On day 9 my son phoned early in the morning to say he had wrestled all night with his feelings and thoughts. He woke shaking to know that he he had to bravely end a 7 year relationship. He is now rethinking life and please God will come back home to the Church.

Even when things do not go the way I’d wish them to be, I still trust that you are working behind the scenes and you will work all things together for my good because I love you and you’ve called me to do your will.
I ask heavenly father that you reveal yourself to my teenager and draw her into a deeper relationship with you in this age of technology and information overload.
I pray that you give our children the wisdom to differentiate good from sin and to know sin for what it is. I ask for your will to be done in our marriages both strong and weak.

I prayed St. Monica Novena asking God to give me the patience and peace of mind to go through the rough phase of my relationship where my boyfriend was not talking with me. On the last day of this Novena, he called me after a week of keeping quiet and checked on me. He then yesterday sent me a surprise gift with a card- I feel so happy. We have been talking and catching up the past 3 days and I pray for consistency in communication and for God to take this relationship to the commitment level.
I have been praying many novenas for this, so I must give credit not only to St. Monica, but also to our Blessed Mother, St. Joseph, St. Anne and St. Joachim, and many other S/saints and angels of Heaven for their prayers. And of course, the biggest credit and thanks goes to our Lord God who made this possible.
Earlier this year, I was told by my doctor that my husband and I would never be able to have children without IVF, which we do not feel comfortable pursuing because it conflicts with our Catholic and pro-life values. I desperately researched potential options to fix the issue, but my doctor firmly told me that none of them would work for me and that it was a waste of money. I decided to try anyway, to pray, and leave the final say to God.
This past week, during my novena to St. Monica (and after many other novenas my family and I have been saying) I went in for a medical test (which my doctor refused to order for me) to see if by some miracle the treatment I chose had worked. The test results were *COMPLETELY NORMAL*. What my doctor said was damaged beyond repair and beyond hope, GOD has MADE WHOLE. I have no doubt in my mind that God led me to find this treatment, that the saints gave me the courage to pursue it, and that God has worked a miracle in my life.
I will continue to pray that the next step will be for us to have and raise a happy, healthy, holy family. But until then I am sharing the good news that God has worked a miracle in my life. Thanks be to God. And I pray that all of those praying these novenas will *never lose hope.* Remember that Jesus said to the woman with 12 years of bleeding, “Go in peace. Your faith has made you well.”
I’ve been praying novenas with you for a couple of years. I just finished praying the novena to St. Monica with you yesterday. I specifically prayed that my children would return to the Catholic Church. 30 minutes ago I received a phone call from my son and his wife to tell me that She has signed up for RCIA classes and he will be attending with her! Prayers answered 🙏🙏🙏. Thank you St. Monica!
I had a friend that has been an unbaptized protestant for a long time and even though I didn’t do a good job of keeping up with the Novena, on the last day I spoke to her about Catholicism and she is planning on entering RCIA soon!
I applied for this job and have been praying this novena. I did get the first interview and was not sure if I would get called back for testing. Yesterday morning I got the call test I was selected for testing. Immediately started saying my prayers of thanks the moment I hung up the phone. I am continuing to pray and being thankful.
Thank you St Monica for adding your prayers with mine to God. Thank You Father God for answering an almost impossible task in 2 days. Prayed for God to help us find a Rescue Spaniel to save us as much we could save it after we lost our 12 year old Spaniel last year. Maybe on the 3rd day of the Novena I received news about one of the thing I was praying for which was for my father to receive a good bill of health from the results of his blood work and he did!…To God be the Glory..I want to say that you should always give praise, honour and thanks to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for all his blessings, some of which we don’t acknowledge in our daily lives. My intention was for a second job that worked around my current job and commitments. I had little time to offer and was afraid I wouldn’t get enough hours or pay because of it. Within the first 3 days of this novena, I received a job offer that gave me as many hours as I was willing to work on the days I offered and was immensely flexible with my schedule. The pay is also enough help me save for things that have been on hold and in my prayers for a while now. Leave it to St Monica and her mother’s heart to help me with these intentions!

I asked St Monica to help me and my husband on the first steps of our marriage. We’ve been married just over a month and this first month wasn’t the easiest due to different circumstances. When I started the novena I was feeling awful, as if I had a big grey cloud hovering over me, and I was so afraid that we wouldn’t be able to communicate or have a good married life. But from the start St Monica helped me; my heart was calmer, and my husband and I could talk about our worries and needs. Now we are on the same page and, although difficulties will arise, we can face them together. Thank you St Monica for praying for us!

I had been praying for so very long to secure a place of my own to live and felt as though this impossible task was unrealistic.
I saw the St Monica novena on day 2 in my emai iinbox and decided to join in praying for my needs & others but not expecting anything to change as it’s been so very disappointing in the past on this particular petition.
We placed contracts on 6 homes for sale and they were all sold to other people who offered all cash offers or more than the 20% plus higher deposit and thousands of dollars above asking price we were willing to offer. The last home we lost by 3 hours (they took another offer) and a $15,000 offer above our offer which was already thousands of dollars above asking price under contract but not extended because lender was so overwhelmed with other contracts they wouldn’t return calls by neither buyer nor seller.
My husband decided maybe this was not GOD’S will for us and decided to try the rental route until things become more reasonable.
My desire for a home/rental has been a 7 year ordeal.(since September 2013)
On Tuesday we were able to secure a rental and the owner of the Condominium was actually a Christian man who owned many properties in the area. Upon hearing that I have Asthma and bad allergies he even offered to thoroughly clean the bedroom carpets. Then he said if there was still a problem with the carpets,, he would install wooden floors after the Covid calms down enough to safely have multiple workers in the home.
Thank you St Monica, it’s an absolutely beautiful place for me and I can’t wait to move in.

For several months now my husband & I have not been getting along. This often involved either not speaking to each other, or having outright confrontations which were hurtful to both. Thank you for your intercession. I have been praying and working so hard since almost 1.5 years to get a job. It always felt like – so near yet so far. My financial situation was getting tight and I was on the brink of breaking my fixed deposits to sustain. While I was praying this Novena, I got an opportunity to interview as an external consultant a temporary assignment with a company that I have been really wanting to work with. Today I sign the contract which is currently for 6 months, extendable and an opportunity to get on roll assignment if I do well. Thank you Saint Monica for helping me in my marriage. My husband is happy with me and we have peace in our marriage.
I had been having attacks for three weeks, I thought it was my peptic ulcer,it was Sunday morning I was having a severe attack I called a ambulance to bring me to the hospital and asked God to intervene and make the pain go away, I was being looked after by two nurses and a Doctor I had a heart attack I was admitted to the hospital for a week. The pain came back every evening and it would take hours to ease the pain, the Doctor was having a problem of the amount of medication I needed I was waiting on a bed in another hospital for a procedure to have two stints put in arteries were both blocked and I had A fib were the heart races and the blood pressure would raise To 280 over hundred. I got the stints put in and was realized from the other hospital and sent by ambulance back to my town. I still got the attacks for two more days, It was with Gods intervention I got to go home in a few days, I know it was God that saved my life and everyone’s prayers thank you so much for all of your prayers for sure its the answer also asking for God to intervene.
My son was having a hard time with the thought of starting school. He felt he wasn’t accepted and didn’t have any friends. We almost switched schools and it’s been very hard. I prayed this novena for him to have confidence, for people to see him as a great kid and to have a good first week at school. He is doing better then I ever imagined. He is So so happy. My confirmation name is Monica and I knew This was the novena I was meant to say…for my son, as Monica did
My prayers were answered when my granddaughters were vaccinated but then two thirds of my family came down with covid. I am beyond happy that some including my granddaughters have recovered.. but im still praying for the recovery of my son, pregnant daughter in law and grandson… Its taking much longer and i will continue to pray for them

For several months I have been praying for my brother who has drifted from the Church, and he was my main intention for this novena. After Mass last Sunday, I looked up from my seat to see him coming over to say hello! By God’s grace, he came back home! My brother received the Body & Blood of Christ this week and that is HUGE! Praise Jesus! I have such hope for him and continue to pray that God keeps generously pouring grace and mercy into his life, drawing him closer to His Heart through His Church. There is a pervading peace in acceptance, a quiet joy that comes in surrender. There’s an abiding hope that is born of knowing that St. Monica is interceding in heaven for you and that her son St. Augustine joined you in your petitioning prayer. Nothing is impossible or wrong to pray for, as God’s will and your wishes are synchronized in a prayer of harmony that makes it all well…whatever the outcome.

I’ve been praying for years and years for the same things St. Monica prayed for her son. Things had gotten so bad between me and my son, I felt the relationship was destroyed. The third day into the Novena he texted me that he loved me. It was a breakthrough and hopefully a new start. Praise God 🙏

A cousins relative has been living in Afghanistan for several years. She was left stranded during this latest craziness. We have been praying… Today we received news that she was able to board a helicopter and evacuate on a cargo plane. The Marines who lost their lives, saved another life. Glad she is safe. Thank you St. Monica & to all who prayed for our dear daughter Jennifer suffering from Covid. Prayers were answered & she beat Covid & pneumonia!! Praise God from whom all blessings flow!!
I asked St. Monica to intercede for me on a difficult situation at work. It’s not completely fixed but things are starting to happen. Thank you God for your grace, mercy and blessings.

This is the first time I know for sure my prayers have been answered.
My daughter & I had a serious falling out months ago and yesterday was her birthday. I called her not knowing if she would even talk to me, and she did and was very sweet & never mentioned our disagreement. I have prayed about it every single day and now I know my prayers have been answered. God is good, all the time. Thank you sweet Jesus
I prayed that the relationship I have with my best friend will be healed and that we will work things out and that we would love each other better than before. This prayer has been answered today when we were able to talk things out and build a stronger bond. Praise God and thank you St. Monica!
I am a single mom and have been praying for almost a decade for the right man to come into my life, a companion and my soul mate… half way through this novena I was asked out by a man who I think is the perfect fit for me and I for him. Thank you St. Monica for your intercession and the prayers and thank you Jesus for everything you do for me and my kids. Amen
My son has been in care since the 1st of May this year, it was the hardest decision to make but I had too as he was getting extremely violent towards me and smashing and breaking everything in the house.He is Autistic and has learning difficulties .He gets frustrated and takes it out on me.
I also have 2 other sons who are autistic too but he was the youngest.
Three weeks after being in care , management informed me and children’s services that they will not be able to keep him due to his outbursts and aggressiveness when things don’t go his way.
I have prayed and pleaded to OUR GOD and promised him that I leave everything in his hands and whatever happens, I will accept it as his will.
I did tell GOD that I was happy with the home where he is right now but the manager said she was sorry things had to change .
Last week in Monday we had another meeting and it was decided that another home had been found and they were to visit it on Thursday last week which they did,
I have had restless nights, anxieties but keeping it all in as its only through Prayer that I get my strength from now.
Today at 11am our social worker Max called me and told me that the manager and staff at the care home have decided to keep Brian my son where he is with them as they feel things are changing and they have worked so hard to be where they are now.
My boy is happy and I can see and feel it too.
He has been taken under section 20 which means that I still have full parental responsibility and I can have him back whenever I want to.
To me this is a MIRACLE AND ANSWERED PRAYER.
